Let’s just say that I walk that fine line between being witty and being a jerk.

To paraphrase CE, I love how everyone bashes someone else, but ignores the spamming, freshman ■■■■■.

Clark Uni, UConn

Oberlin C, Carleton C, Boston C

Vassar C, Wesleyan U, Brown U, Carnegie Mellon U (maybe)

It’s because you are neither worth our time nor our derision.

Thanks, means a lot to me that my trolling is of that caliber

Early Action:

Georgetown SFS (#1 choice)
UNC (OOS)
UVA (OOS)
UChicago
UMiami

Regular Decision:

George Washington
Louisiana State (the safety of safeties)
Northwestern
NYU
Penn
Stanford
Washington and Lee
Williams
WashU

International:
Oxford, possibly (depends on my IB scores)

IBkid24 Have you looked at Davidson? It looks like a good match with your other schools

Definitely
UNC
USC (South Carolina)
ECU (My mom is forcing me)
NCSU
UNCW

Maybe
Wake Forest
Davidson

Foothill
DeAnza
Devry
Heald
Everest
Wyotech

Definitely:
MIT (EA)
Cornell (Maybe ED, not sure yet)
UNC-Chapel Hill (Safety)

Maybe:
Duke (didn’t really like it when we visited, and it was my mom’s pick anyways. As someone who’s lived in SC her whole life, it’s WAY too hot down here, even in Durham. So it’s more of a “Probably Not”)
Vanderbilt (Visiting this summer)
Emory (Safety, Visitng this summer)
Georgia Tech (Safety, Visiting this summer)
Wofford (Safety, Visiting this summer)

I visited Georgetown, Boston College, and Wake Forest this summer too, but they all just didn’t have that… vibe that I was looking for. Obviously a subjective judgment, but one I made nonetheless.

I really wanted to apply to Carnegie Mellon, but I was nervous about applying somewhere I had never been, just in case it turned out like Georgetown, where I was all “AAAHHHH! I’m so excited to see Georgetown!!!” and then I got there and was like, “Well… it’s nice and all… I guess…”, so CM was dropped.

Early:

Harvard SCEA
UVA EA

If I’m rejected/deferred by Harvard (which is, of course, likely), I’ll apply to the following schools RD:

YPSM
Dartmouth
Brown
Penn
Columbia (maybe)
Chicago (maybe)

My list is incredibly reach-heavy because I’d be happy with going to UVA over practically any other school not listed above. And I’m not very worried about getting into UVA because I’m an in-stater with good stats.

Ugh I wish I found this earlier so I could think of a killer analogy to the whole “Bragging about which schools you’re applying to” comment, but the time has long since passed :(

Early:
Yale

RD:
Brown
JHU
Colombia
Upenn
Princeton
UMich
Tufts
Maybe Berkley?
State School

^ I was thinking about applying to Argentina for a while, but now I think Colombia might be a better choice.

Seattle University. That’s all.

Definitely:
UT-Austin
Cal-Berkeley
Michigan-Ann Arbor
Ohio State University

Probably:
University of Alabama (FREE TUITION!! :))
Baylor University
Brown

Maybe:
Stanford
Princeton
LSU
UNC-Chapel Hill
Duke

Note: I chose mostly public schools because I will have about 70 credit hours to transfer and would hate to lose them.

I’m from China. I really want to ED Wharton but I notice there are lots of eligible future Wharton applicants in China. Standing out from a pool of excellent Chinese students is extremely hard but i always like to challenge. Wish me luck! Wharton is really hot now in my country for whatever reason.

Other schools I am thinking of:
Stern of NYU
U of Chicago

Definitely:
Chapman University
UCLA
NYU
University of Washington

Maybe:
University of San Diego
Lewis and Clark College
UC Berkeley
Cal Poly
and probably some others.

I think Chapman might be my favorite so far… But wow, lots of people really gunning for the ivys (ivies? I don’t know).

I haven’t! I will look into it! Thank you!

I’m only applying to 3, is that too few?
University of Florida
Florida State University
University of Central Florida

I’m applying to Penn’s LSM program ED.
