<p>HOW DO YOU GIVE AN EXAM? QUASI!!!</p>
<p>Mixing the phrases “give exam” and “take exam” is a common error ESL students make because in their native tongues students “give exams” and teachers “take exams”, while it’s otherwise in English. But when you come to think of it, both phrases make sense in both situations.</p>
<p>ahha, i never knew that. lol. ‘give’ an exam. i wish… sigh.</p>
<p>I don’t understand how one can take OR give exams. <em>gets random image of someone grabbing an exam booklet and running off with it</em> Neither of them make sense, so whatever.</p>

<p>lol, ‘ma’am’. i have bad memories of using that. i said that to a teacher once in reply when she was going off at me, and she said i was being impertinent and kicked me out of class.
i mean, really. jeez.
ive never used ‘writing’ an exam before. sit and take, yeah, but write? hmmm…</p>
