Class of 2014!

Hell yeah! I can’t wait to do MUN in college. :D

What do you guys plan on majoring in? I want to major in Computer Science, but USC (Southern California) has this one-of-a-kind Computer Science (Games) program - it’s CS with an emphasis in game development and ultimately I want to work in the video game industry. So USC is pretty much the school I want to get into the most, and I’d have a really good shot if it wasn’t for my 1820 SAT score. Still, I’m hoping my background helps me stand out, which I’m sure it will to a certain extent. I think if I don’t get into USC, I’ll definitely try to transfer as soon as possible. Would rather not have to transfer though haha.

How exactly does your “background” help you stand out?

I’m thinking of a lot of things to major in…lol.

Juggernaut: Well, I’m Sudanese but I’m a US citizen born and raised in LA but I’m currently living in Sudan. Sudan doesn’t produce that many high school seniors who go to American unis. There’s only like, three international schools in Khartoum (and I’m going to guess Sudan), and the rest in this city are public schools. God knows what’s going on in the rest of the country, as it is extremely impoverished, and you have Dafur going on in the west and all. I know the rest of the seniors in the other schools here and I can assure you my twin bro and I will be the only Sudanese (as in, currently living in Sudan) applying to most of our unis, no joke. I’m applying to MIT and according to their statistics they haven’t had a Sudanese student since 2006, haha. Too bad my SAT score isn’t higher. :P

You wouldn’t even need that much in SAT had you not been a US citizen. :P

That’s quite something - good luck.

@gary: That’s pushing it

I haven’t been on since the boring old summer days. Nice to know it’s the same old people. :D

December is coming up so fast. D:

ED decisions in ~1 month!

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep (you know, just to join in with the ED-ers).

HAHAHAHHA. yeah. lets just say OMGARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH anyway.
even though its about 5 months premature for us. ahwell. GROUP PSYCH.

Yes! Yes! Enthusiasm is contagious!

Going to Singapore today for an MUN conference. Going to be gone for a week. So excited!

Good luck! Which country/committee?

Antigua and Barbuda, General Assembly 1. Landed in Singapore today and my GOD this city/country is so clean and amazing and is in abundance of attractive Asian women.

First time in S’pore? It’s a marvelous place. My parents were all gung-ho on me attending NUS. Unfortunately, I crashed those dreams in Providence ;)

Which MUN is this? I live in Singapore. Anyway, Singapore is like Disneyland - only with the death penalty.

Haha, that’s a nice way to put it.

I have absolutely nothing to contribute with regards to MUN. In fact I have NO idea what it is.

But I wanted to say hi.

I am at work and had to make a call to one of our partners. I have been on hold for 23 minutes. Their hold music is a Jack Johnson album. Win.

WIN. What’s up, ninja? When did you shake off the swine flu?
