Class of 2014!

ninja, I think it applies to everyone who gets the related email. Nooooo idea how many people they’ve sent it out to though.

Hell yeah I need financial aid, considering I’m a twin and there’s no way my parents are gonna pay full price for my bro and I. I’m assuming that’s not gonna affect me if I’m applying to need-blind unis though, right?

By the way, I got that same St. John’s email.

It won’t affect you if you’re applying to need-blind unis but those you mentioned aren’t need blind :-/

I just submitted my application to Colgate yaaaaaaaay!

Well, I already sent in my apps to them and the common app asks for nothing regarding salary, so I think I’m good. Congrats on the app submit! I still have 12 more to go! :D

I’ve got the john mail >20 times now
:(

Seriously. I’ve gotten loads from Guilford College, Drexel, Tulane, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Loyola University, etc. The only universities that has emailed me more than once that I’ve applied to/planning on applying to are Drexel and NYU.

The common app doesn’t ask about salary and whatnot because for most places you need to submit a separate financial aid form, like the CSS/Profile on the College Board website. You might want to look into that because I’d hate for you to get accepted somewhere and then not be able to afford to go!

I haven’t gotten anything from anyone! I wonder why. What kind of things do they say in their emails?

stuff like, “we hope that you will apply to our institution X” because “you are an outstanding applicant” etc.
so far ive got butler, the renausser thingy place, and i cant remember the rest. you can press the ‘dont talk to me’ button on them though. :)

^ That’s what I do :D

Anyone here part of MUN? I am and I’m going to an international MUN conference (which has around a 1000 delegates) in Singapore next Sunday. Gonna miss an entire week of school. I’m very excited - I went to Amman, Jordan for a conference last year and it was no doubt the best week of my life. I’ll have to find time to get some studying for my subject tests in though, somehow, haha.

Okay, so have any of you applied early?

If so, where’re you from and where’ve you applied?

does it really matter if you apply early action, even if it’s single choice?

I’m a MUN addict :)

I’m a tried-to-MUN fail :(

N0000000000000b

Tetris, Check your mail… :)

Regarding MUN, have any of you been to the Harvard International MUN?

Sadly, no :(

I haven’t either. Would totally love to though.

Oh well, there’s always college :)
