Class of 2014!

Really? I just had a student replying though… Hmmm.
But then again, I don’t have 800 on the CR section!

^I might be mistaken. I can’t find it on their website now, although I’m positive I saw it like a year ago.

This from the Princeton website (you’re safe)

“We encourage applicants attending schools outside the U.S. or Canada to complete their required standardized testing by the December test date if possible (SAT Reasoning Test or ACT, and two SAT Subject Tests, and TOEFL, if applicable). In our experience, scores from the January test date for testers outside the U.S. do not always reach us in time. However, if January is the only time you can take the test, please sit for the test in January and have your scores reported to us by the testing agency.”

Aah thank you! But I already cleared that with all the colleges I’ve applied to! I just decided not to apply to Yale, because they were the only ones that made me! Hehe.

The student told you they wouldn’t accept Jan scores?

That’s weeyard. Maybe they changed their policy after you did that or something.

Plus, be comforted that Yale has a lower acceptance rate for intls than Harvard does.

I don’t know why I applied, I basically crapped my HYP essays and threw the applications together because I felt I could then blame the essays when I don’t get in. When, not if.

Haha. I shall blame those and my math score. And possibly Bio too. Kind of cool to have something to blame, eh? Imagine if we were like tetris and didn’t. It would feel so * personal * then.

Totally. Lol, I’m gonna blame my ECs if I dont get into schools with no supplements or supplements I felt I did well. The rest is essays.

Oh, I can also blame my 680 in WR and 8 in the essay. :)

Oh, I’m also going to blame…er, the parts of my GC’s rec that I didn’t get to see!

Aaaah, blaming other people ROCKS.

I’ll blame… That’s the problem now, I wouldn’t know what to blame… My application has a lot of weaker spots… That will be frustrating! Not having a clue if you were close or an instant reject… And what did it!

@Quasi: Yes, it was your vunderful best friend from school :p

Also, I’m done with math.

HI GUYS!

Aargh! I hadn’t even thought about that yet… How are your guys’ ECs btw?
In the Netherlands ECs are virtually non-existent, so I’ve done quite a lot for Dutch standards… But nothing astonishing!

The more weak spots, the BETTER! There are so many reasons for rejection, ultimately it has NOTHING to do with me!

I like my ECs, I guess.

HI TETRIS!

I’m gonna lose my mind by the time the end of March comes.

Hi Tetris!! :D

EDIT : Quasi, I literally LOLed. Oooh oooh I failed a couple of exams in 10th grade. I can blame that too. :)

Hey, I didn’t have a perfect app. I had a couple of 50’s in ninth grade English because I…err…forgot to take the make-up tests :p

I’ll just blame my scores. Any score will do, all my scores are terrible and made of PHail.

What else can I blame?

1.) Internationalness
2.) Needing FA
3.) The adcom who read my essay having a nephew who is also into writing, acting, Humanities and has a 550 in math
4.) The adcom was horny that day.
5.) The adcom had a fight with his daughter that day about going into engineering. The daughter is into writing, acting, Humanities and has a 550 in math.
6.) The adcom didn’t like my history teacher’s handwriting in her rec.
7.) The adcom hates to read.

LOL @ Pennism :D

I’ll blame my huge financial need! Even for the need-blind schools. lol

What does horniness have to do with it?

You know, cause his wife was mad at him for yelling at his daughter for not going into engineering and he was all sex-deprived and in a mad mood.

Unless it was a she, in which case she felt all lonely because she didn’t have a boyfriend and was jealous of my gorgeous toes.
