gappy, did you prepare for physics from PR too? If yes, how was it? I know I’m gonna be doomed on Saturday despite my desperate last-three-day cramming!

I wish GB was here.

S h i t.

And, do you have any advice for the physics test?

@Quasi: See, PR probably covered the basics pretty well. If you’ve got that stuff down already, then you could brush up using Kaplan and then do whatever little extra you can.

PS: These two hormones are quite obscure. I hope they didn’t cause the freak-out!

any advice would do!

No, I was just looking through Kaplan and saw it.

I have school exams, I don’t know * when * I’ll get to do extra stuff.

When’s the next exam that actually requires studying?

Thursday * and * Friday.

Damn.

So that leaves just tonight?

hey i’m kinda getting nervous because i haven’t got my yale e-mail yet and tomorrow is the 20th. What should I do if it doesn’t arrive??

Well, I guess I’ll study bits in between. Maybe I’ll use Sparknotes or something. God knows.

Edit: Haven’t gotten mine either, nakshatra. Relax.

hullaballooooo

I haven’t got my Yale too. I think we should be getting it by 20th which is 21st by Asian time.

@Bilgunn : I used PR and got a 760 on the test. It was mostly stuff covered in PR but I think there were a couple of questions I didn’t know and left out. I felt I did the worst for phys but the curve for M2 was ridiculous. Mostly I think PR is sufficient but if you’re aiming for 800 or bust, then you do need to read up on other stuff. If you, like me, are aiming for 750+ or 700+, it should be sufficient. The last chapter for Physics, the one I spent an hour on in the wee hours of the morning (it wasn’t in my A Levels syllabus) didn’t even come out. Haha, so dont labor on any one chapter unless you REALLY don’t know the material cause you might feel crappy when it doesn’t come out.

@nakshatra : Wait what Yale email?

Sparknotes worked for me when it came to chem.

whew, relieved now.
@gapyearstudent: the e-mail that says that ur application has been processed and tht and account has been set up for you…

i’ve got math on thurs and hindi on fri. god save me.

gappy, I’m self-studying almost everything so everything’s new to me. So, if I manage to cram all the stuff in PR like crazy that’d be enough for a 700? If yes, I’m cutting my internet cables right now!

I’ve gotten my Eli account info!

Of course, I submitted on the 23rd so you don’t need to worry. I got the email on the 30th of Dec.

Everything’s brand-spanking-still-in-the-Fallopian-tube new to me too.

I’ll cram PR and then cram Sparknotes. I’m looking at a random Sparky test now to see what I don’t know from PR.
