Class of 2014!

@GB : OMG THAT EPISODE HAD ME IN TEARS OF LAUGHTER. You’re supposed to laugh at it, it knows its ridiculous.

@JJ : Yup, thats the token gay guy. Come on its Glee Club, what do you expect?

I will try it guess! If its funny, of coursee

Okay true, it is about a glee club, I could have guessed?:stuck_out_tongue: The TOKEN one though? Isnt he the only GUY, period?:P

Hmmm… hmmmmm… I might watch it too… I am tempted…
No, this vid actually convinced me to watch it, because I sort of heard
that it was one giant HSM from other people!

HSM is crap. HSM is people bursting out spontaneously in song. Terrible song I might add. Glee is about stereotypes. Everyone is a stereotype, the dumb jock, the sassy black girl, the feminine gay guy who loves fashion, the shy Asian, the spoiled princess who can sing. Its very much exaggerated but the thing is the show knows this and runs with it. HSM is stereotypical in a whole nother way.

OOH, it has stereotypes? I love that! I think that is very funny usually!

I’ve watched a couple of vids on youtube, and you guys have convinced me! When I am done with this wave of insane school work next week, I’ll start watching it too!

:)

I like spreading the joy.

Oh btw, it just won the Golden Globes best musical/comedy.

I didn’t know you two were engaged??
I feel so lonely… Haha just kdding:P

Meeh, JJ, have you heard from any other college about interviews? Apparently Harvard only interviews applicants in the Netherlands that stand a chance… I haven’t heard anything yet, but they don’t have most of my forms either apparently, so that could be why…

Ooh! Don’t feel lonely JJ! I just to be engaged to Tetris and Quasi too! And they ditched me!

You can marry us. Don’t worry, we’re abstaining.

^harvard only interviews applicants they require more info from right, it is no selection? Well anyway havent heard anything either, but my app hasnt been complete that long, so maybe we will still get them!
No need! Apparently im not good enough for you all! I will continue to find the one on dating sites! cries in corner and sacrifices a pig virgin to afrodite

Yeah, well, but all the Harvard-subforum people say that the only interview people from certain countries that stand a chance, because they do not have enough interviewers. So it is sort of pointless to interview someone who has no chance whatsoever and not interview someone who actually could be admitted. I do hope we get interviews then!

EDIT: You see Gappy? Everyone hates us! Or they are just jealous. And we’d be ruining the exotic-ness.

Hey, can anyone clarify… does it cost the same to send ALL your scores to a college as it does to send just one? I’m trying to send some and am getting confused! If I’ve already sent other scores, there’s no point sending them again is there?

No, unless you do score choice, collegeboard will send all your scores to your respective colleges. If you have new SAT results however, you should send new score reports (if you want them to be evaluated in the admissions process).

Pn, i think every college you add is a different score report(so anoyher charge). But you can send as many scores as you want on one score report(I assume it is the sats)
gb, if they are doing a “screening”, I can imagine getting interviews takes a while!

Well, I sent the October scores to 4 of my colleges (using the free ones). And now I’m trying to send the January scores to all of my colleges, but it’s automatically selected all my scores (including the ones I’ve already sent). But I guess I should just leave it like that shouldn’t I, to make sure they get all of them and can do score choice.

I’m confusing myself.

jjavdm yeah thanks, that makes sense.

Darn you guys, I haven’t been here in so long. Updates:

Did January SAT. Think it went OK. Have had a Brown interview (YAY!!!) and in just over a week have Princeton and UChicago interviews (YAY!!!) and have been accepted to one of my UK colleges :)

yeah, I think that is why they ask you to apply by the preferred deadline! Let us pray for interviews! hehehe.

Yeah Portuguese, that’s the best option! Just send everything. Except when you do not want them to see certain scores and your school allows score choice. At this point it is better to send everythin (if they already received the same scores earlier) methinks, so there aren’t any discrepancies.

Where are you applying?

Aah! And UK schools! Where have you applied?! :D

In the US I applied to:

Yale
Princeton
Brown
UChicago
JHU
Oberlin
Mt Holyoke
Vassar
Grinnell
Colgate

Oberlin and I think JHU don’t require subject tests so I’m thinking of not sending my scores for those. They will see from my application that I have A Levels and I think my grade B A Levels are better than SAT subject tests at scores of 510 and 620.

And in the UK I applied to: Manchester, Cardiff, Reading, Nottingham, and Swansea. Accepted at Cardiff  Have you applied to the UK???
