Dan Brown’s books are extremely addictive. Once I’ve started reading one, I just have to finish as soon as possible. It’s like opening a huge box of chocolates and having to eat the whole lot :D.

For an aspiring nuclear scientist, atheist philosopher, and anti-god theory conspirator,; heavenly book!
Da Vinci was good too. Esp. coz I love cryptics, anagrams and stuff. Tetris knows :D

The Angels and Demons had more turns and twists than The Da Vinci Code and frankly I hadn’t guessed the culprit right till the very end.
And now,I just can’t wait for Dan Brown’s next book ‘The Lost Symbol’, also featuring Robert and to be released in September.

But the Digital Fortress was possibly his worst book and very very disappointing. And can anyone tell me what to expect from ‘Deception Point’? I haven’t read this one yet.

Doesn’t Dan Brown teach at Amherst or something? (Hopefully creative writing, lol :D)

Deception Point was good…just a little boring. I liked Digital Fortress better, to be honest.

Does he? AMHERST? OMG!!!

Oh no. He’s an Amherst graduate. I don’t think he teaches there.

^That’s what I found too and if CC is to be believed he doesn’t donate any money to Amherst either. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/amherst-college/194632-dan-brown.html

From the inside of my copy of Angles and Demons:

“…is a graduate of Amherst College and Philips Exeter Academy, where he has taught English and creative writing.”

Darn, I knew it was too good to be true. Oh well :/.

No WONDER I wanted so badly to go to Exeter in class eight. :)

And I almost decided to apply to Amherst too. :)

Are you '14 or '13, ccprofile?

^haha. I’m a '14er.

So you can still apply! Amherst is awesome!

Word. Amherst IS awesome :)

Thanks, tetris. :D

Wow, I feel so involved with Amherst, and I don’t even go there.

How (un)likely are you to change your mind about ED?

Well, right now I’m convinced. The only way I’ll change my mind is if my family relents about my dream school, which is extremely unlikely.

Give us a clue as to what your dream school is?

Talking about Dan Brown,he just makes up a few lies and combines it into a “sci-fi” book and then people actually now believe what he wrote is true and not the “actual” history…he tarnishes true facts. He is actually a danger to the society.I’ve read all his books.

Why am I talking like this?:)
