Class of 2014!

Haha sorry dinner. Byee

Bye! Have a good one.

@cheese: Playboy ;)

Tetris, it’s better than bimbo :)

Hey friends,

I am class of 2014 and I have got admitted to Georgia Tech and Urbana Champaign. I am majoring in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Can you all please help me decide which one to take?? I need the info urgently as I need to pay for my acceptance and housing etc.,

thanks in advance
Adi

ROFL at tetris and cheese. That made me SOWL.

adirang, I don’t know, sorry. :(

Both are excellent schools for engineering. Did you apply to Purdue as well? What is the difference in cost, if any? Can you visit?

Holy crap I just got a really thin letter from Colgate and I was about to go OH FACKK.

Turned out to be some stupid update thingy.

4500 yay !

Haha. Colgate. Sorry the name is really funny.

Yes. Toothpaste university. I am convinced they will reject me anyway considering they don’t look at SAT writing, so whatever. sticks nose in air

Damn then I should have applied :D

Choose Georgia Tech, adirang, if you want more emphasis on your major and a more techie, but really as gapyearstudent said, there’s not much difference.

Yeah, that’s perhaps my problem with it. I never knew what I wanted. I knew I liked Humanities best, but I didn’t want to give up the Sciences altogether and though they keep saying they’ll change the curriculum-make it possible for Arts students to take Science courses as well, and vice versa, it somehow never materialises sadly. Also, the curriculum in itself is a joke, at least here in Bombay University. They’ve literally modelled some courses for people who’ve possibly never studied English before-like one of those “Goodluck Learn English in 45 Days” courses that have books and are advertised all over. Oh well, it’s good that you’ve got it all figured out Quasi. :)

Hahahahahahahaha SEEEEEEEE buyer’s remorse! WE WOULD DO SO MUCH BETTER IF WE COULD DO IT AGAIN!

Edit: I absolutely haven’t, Paradox. I’m just trying to be positive about it since I’m going to have to stay in India probably. :)

Brown admissions decisions will be available April 1 5:00 PM EST.

We would so be wiser and have much better options.

April 1?! I thought it was the 31st. Damn that means April 2 here at 6 am.

Yes. ■■■.

Ah well. What’s done is done.

Yeah I just got the email. So it’s April 2 here at 3:30. Not staying up, thank you.

Ah, that sucks. I’ve been down that road, assuming it’s parental and not a personal choice. I don’t know how JU is, but if you ever feel disillusioned in the system, do consider applying again. You’ll be surprised at the results. Gap years are the best. I’m a gap year veteran myself-two years running now, but I don’t regret it at all, because it’s given me so much more insight into what I want out of life, and lended that maturity to never take things for granted which somehow one tends not to develop straught out of high school, specifically in an academic context.

Brown says “your admission decision will be available online no sooner than 5:00PM (your local time).”

??
