<p>@Meg, I absolutely abhorred Lord of the Flies. Such a hateful novel with a very negative view on human nature. I really didn’t enjoy it.</p>

<p>@Malik Oh, I completely despise the theory that when faced with desperate situations, humans will become worse than animals and lose all shreds of civilisation, but somehow I love books that propogate this point of view, probably because I’m a sucker for gore and violence and horrificness and people going completely deranged (I have SUCH a dark taste in books and movies :S). </p>
