<p>@meg, I actually think it can be an entertaining watch when a film does it right, and love dark films and books, BUT the characters in LotF are SO unlikable that you don’t grow attached to any of them at all, and it just makes reading the book a drag if you feel no connection with the characters, and that was the case with LotF. I will never read LotF again. However, I’m currently reading The Tipping Point and it is a VERY interesting read.</p>

<p>Okay so I hate to be a party pooper here but I just got an outright rejection from URichmond so America-2010 is officially over (unless of course the waitlist with financial aid Gods show their light and we all know the wonderful chances of that happening <em>rolls eyes</em>)… </p>

<p>@Malik: You know, I’m a very character oriented person, so I would definitely be turned off if I found the characters as unlikable as you did. But I’m still going to try, mostly for the love of depravity :P. Also, the Tipping point is AWESOME! Have you read Blink?</p>
