***Class Of 2015 NMSF Qualifying Scores***

Congratulations to all who know! Yea!!! the wait is almost over. No news from our school yet.

My oldest daughter was a National Merit Finalist in 2004, from the state of Michigan. Her score was 211. My youngest daughter scored 215, we have been on pins and needles for days. School is very slow on letting the students know if they made it.

Really need someone to come at the Class of 2013 level. C’mon!

scott and everyone, when updating, be sure to copy the most recent list so you don’t inadvertently omit info.

Waiting super anxiously in MN with a 214. Hopefully some MN homeschoolers are watching! I’m another kid just hoping to reach a goal!

This is like watching election results, state by state, with one “tiny” difference–at NMS central, they know what all these cutoffs are, so they could just put them all on their website instead of making people work so hard. Sigh.

No… they were none committal on if they have it. They just say the students will get notified by 9/10. I am guessing they either have it or expecting it. Our high school is big on the NM, so I would think they are on top of it.

TX 219… I guess we can all jump for joy together or be “missed by a hair”! I agree, why does it take so long in the age of web, internet, email reporting. You’d think we can all be notified as soon as packed dropped at the post office via some type of online log on via PSAT score site or something.

I was gone for a while, picking up my daughter (no news from her school in Texas) and so happy to see that luvmygirls got her letter! Congratulations. I’m so happy for you!!!

@Prospitfox, please keep us posted if your teacher in KS does give you info on NMSF. We are all rooting for you! And if, for any reason, you find out that 214 is the cut-off (as in, 213 did not make it for KS), I would appreciate you posting that info here, if you don’t mind. Would just like to know, either way. Thanks and good luck tomorrow!

DS came home from school and did not hear anything, nor does he think anyone else did, either. Most of these kids have classes together all day, so he would probably know (or hear of it) if some group was called to the office and he was not among them. Our school is apparently not quick to release any info so it may be a while on our end (KS). Congratulations to those who are posting successful news!

Hi, everyone! I’m not sure if this is much help, but my GC told me today that my public TX high school HAS recieved the NMS list; our principal has it in his office, but he had already gone home/ hadn’t told anyone of its arrival, and my GC couldn’t get to it when I went in to talk to her. She did, however, tell me that if I come in tomorow (which, obviously, I will- I want this stress overwith!) she will tell me. Hopefully, a friendly TX homeschooler will tell us before then, but, regardless, I’ll post tomorrow when I will (hopefully) know. My 216 should tell us something either way, because there’s no way it’s much above the cutoff. My guess is that it will either be the cutoff, or just below the cutoff. Good luck to everybody, and congrats to those who already know!! (additionally, sorry for the any remaining typos- my keyboard is being weird)

My son has 221 in PA .I think he is in but we have not got any official notification.I am also curious to know the PA cutoff score.

You missed the party a few pages back! PA’s cutoff is now at most 217! Congratz!

@Varanasi, he’s definitely in! We have not one, but two points in from PA, and both are lower than 221. It’s 217 at the most, and I’m guessing it will be 216 once the dust settles. Let’s just say I’m celebrating early with a 220, and that official paperwork better not be far behind.

Another Texan with a 219 here…

It’s kind of spooking me a bit that all the Texans on here have 219! Doesn’t that seem weird to anyone?

20student15, That’s super helpful because my son is also a 216 in Texas.

What we need is a Texan with a 219 or below who has been notified that he/she made the cut! Now THAT would be nice!

Congrats !
