@@cc2016: thank u, i wont be chosing usef anyway for my toefls…since i’m in no mood to make my passport right now…

if we guys are to congregate talks into a single thread, what is the use of the Nepal sub-forum?

It’s time to make a forum for the class of 2016 already? Man, I feel ancient!

HI guyz…I m new out here…!!! So plz post some notes so that I may know facts about colleges…!!!

hey i am a newbie; just wanted to drop by and say hi

and has anyone started his college search already… when are you guys taking ur sat, sat ii and toefl…
i have a query…if i opt to give my sat ii in november will i still be able to ED to colleges that have deadline on nov1 and require sat subject tests? can i send my scores after the deadline?
but seems like everyone here is a novice…maybe seniors could donate their cents

nepalimussa@ , you should visit specific webpages of colleges to see whether they accept November SATII scores for Early scheme of admissions(ED/EA/SCEA). You may send an email query to admissions department and they may respond.

Believe me, it differs college per college. Like Harvard won’t take your Nov SAT II scores but Williams is okay with it.

And yeah, if you have questions, better create a thread, you will get a quick reply…

Good luck.

@specific: thank you for the help

^^so what do we particularly discuss in this thread if i am supposed to create a new thread every time i have a doubt?

@all: so class of 2016 is not on the go; threads of previous years used to be flooded with comments…maybe the information from previous threads were able to satisfy all the queries…but you are faced with different challenges every year, so if you are a Nepali applicant (for US obv) passively flicking through this thread just “join in and say hi”

@ specific…are you prety sure that Williams will accept November SAT subject test?

yeah!! Nov SAT subject tests are okay for Williams College but have your score report rushed( i.e. list the college on the list of four freely available score report) as rushed report reaches quickly to colleges than when we place orders for score report…

thanks specific.

class of 2016 is definitely going slow at his moment and time!!!

@i am new to this thread and hope this one helps me alot…

@ritsd10 welcome!!

@specific,@nepalimussa : guys lets get the class of 2016 rolling!!its definitely stuck!!

yeah we should definitely start discussions, ask questions and help each other.

I would be so happy if others , especially diwash, confidential2015 would join in…

Hey guys i am giving my SAT I exam in Oct 1st in ST.Xavier school .I may not have my passport in my hand at the test date because they say that it may take more than 42 days. can i seat for exam with my national Id or driving license?

[International Student SAT Registration](SAT International Testing – SAT Suite | College Board)

see the above link which says that only acceptable photo ID acceptable to take SAT in Nepal is a valid passport…

If it is impossible to obtain it, you would better change your test date… probably to November …

I have see some post here in cc which says National ID or Driving license can do that work.So i was wondering whether it is true or not.I have already registered for Oct 1 .Is it possible to change my test date?

@rocker2:you can get your passport in a week from the foreign ministry!!!don’t panic!!of course you would have to pay a bit more!!
