CLASS OF 2019 REGULAR DECISION APPLICANTS

@jazzdancer2102 because, as CLEARLY stated before, I applied ED to Harvard, was waitlisted/deffered, and thus had to apply to other schools. See the way it works is that often when you dont get into your ED, you apply to other schools, and then they send you decisions. Thusforth, by me applying RD, which I can do to multiple schools actually, I recieved a decision.

Also, PSA, a couple people got accepted in the first wave so any news is potentially good news. Keep your hearts and your minds open

Harvard doesn’t have ed though so. Lol.

@kennedyvoid‌ ayylmao

Still livin

@elhwayn How did you hear from Columbia and Dartmouth if they don’t release decisions until the 31st? Likelies? Either way, you’ve got some great acceptances and a lot of options

@ezak9596‌ That is true- one friend of mine got accepted to Vanderbilt and rejected from Rutgers- probably because they knew she had a better option haha

@Ezak9596 I didn’t think colleges had access to what other schools you apply to unless you disclose them voluntarily. That sucks for you that you got rejected though, everyone needs at least one safety school (I’m guessing UofMiami was for you) no matter how smart they are :).

@tennisgirl2015 I applied all as a bio major haha

Harvard and Yale are EA anyway not ED… So I still think you’re messing with us. My friend applied to Princeton and Dartmouth and she clearly didnt get ED/EA decisions because she didn’t make it to one.

@Kennedyvoid Harvard does have ED. I believe they just brought it back this year or the year before. I also applied, and was deferred.

Ugh I’m so nervous. I was just rejected from my top choice and I REALLY want NYU to work out. Gulp.

Nyu shooting down Ivy League students man. They gunning for top 20 on usnews

@jazzdancer2102 Yea I did restrictive EA from Harvard but idk i call it ED cuz i think of it the same way- like if I got accepted I would commit right away…plus I couldn’t apply anywhere else haha

@TennisGirl2015‌ they don’t necessarily but they can often tell from your stats that NYU isn’t the most difficult place you applied to by far. I wouldn’t be too discouraged for those who have such incredible schools under their belts already. I’m still waiting on Umich and NYU but if they don’t work out Im on the wait list for a few great schools and if they don’t work out well at least I’ve got 4 backups

@elhwayn eww Bio…haha I’m more of a math and physics girl. I applied to Gallatin. Planning on making my own degree to help me prep for Law school.

any acceptances gone out so far?

Man I got a 35 act and a 4 UW and if nyu declined me for being overqualified I would be hella mad…

@Ezak9596 That makes sense. Everything will work out. Did anyone else here apply to UChicago?

@mellin omg don’t be!- Colleges can be so random u never know what they want. You’re gonna do amazing wherever you go never limit yourself to one school!
