@Elhwayn Yeah PolySci seemed to be the most popular, but I’d rather be able to have the customization and a more wide variety of classes as well as some higher level math courses that’d be beyond gen ed.

I applied RD and was waitlisted…idk if it helped at all that I had attended one of their Summer School programs over the past summer and I did the whole interview process. We were told by our RA’s that if you were considering going there you should schedule an interview…At least you know that wherever you go the fun won’t die haha!

you can design your own degree at gallatin? How does that work… I wanted to do a pre med concentration but didn’t want to major in bio so I should have researched it more
I’m in the comfy NYU zone where i dont seem like an overachiever or underachiever… So I just HOPE I get in.

@BigScaryMonster That’s what I was told when I asked the NYU people. They told me it was more popular among those who were going to grad school but didn’t have a rigid undergrad (like Law for example). One of the students actually majored in “evil” who went on to attend NYU law haha. The easiest way to describe it would be to “Build your own degree” I guess.

@TennisGirl2015 I’ve always assumed that summer programs didn’t really matter. Like I got accepted to the Harvard SSP program last year, but I doubt that if I even applied ea or rd with my low SAT’s and mediocre extracurriculars that I would get in. But at least you weren’t flat out rejected though! There’s still hope!
