Is this really a scholarship or it can a loan?

I got a 12k scholarship and a plus loan for 49k. Yeahhh there’s no way me or my parents can pay 200k after I graduate. I’m happy I got accepted though.

@nativeamerikat Well my parents, being typically Asian, expect me to get into Dartmouth. (The only Ivy I applied for, lmao.) Obviously not gonna happen, but I guess they’re content with UGA. GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND IT HAS BEEN A JOYOUS RIDE. <3

what is the global liberal studies program? is it bad?
My son was accepted into Liberal Studies (which is what he applied for). But . . . only a few thousand in scholarship and/or work study, plus $60,000 per year in parental loan. Which is, ah, no.

@collegeplease123 Haha, tell me about it, my parents were like really confused why I didn’t get into NYU, and I’m like… because… it’s a good school… and they don’t want me… i haven’t told them I got rejected from UC Berkeley yet haha

I applied to Stern as my first choice, and I was admitted to Poly. Only 12k in Grants/Scholarships as well, so it looks like this is one school I can definitely cross of my list :(.
