@ivyhopefulebound don’t say that! It’s just a strong correlation, there has been people who got in without a FA change and last year 2 people with the FA change on CC got rejected. So don’t think you are rejected!
is the fa changes over with??? in regards to housing i am able to access the 2015 fall housing portal, but when i do, it redirects me to summer housing for nonrenewable. does that happen for others too?
What FA changes are you all theorizing? I’ve read the old posts but don’t understand the theory! What if you didn’t ask for FA and didn’t do the Fafsa?

UCONN also had the same glitches, with sending out scholarship links and uconn emails and I didn’t get it for a long time and freaked out but it came out 1-2 days before the release SO ITS OK!!!

Yeah, NYU releases decisions on the last Friday of March every year. @Jessdilla2015
About housing, this could be a glitch as only admitted students are allowed access to the portal. A friend of mine who got rejected ED1 tried using his NetID and Password and he’s non renewable. I’m absolutely not saying you’re rejected at this point, but the NetID lets you prance everywhere.
I’ve heard from many of my friends who got into NYU ED I that they had been able to begin their Freshman Housing applications for the Fall prior to being admitted. I am hoping this is a good sign.

I feel as though the housing change is a better indicator than the FA change this year. Housing has stayed constant while the FA change has been appearing then disappearing etc
I respect everyone who thinks otherwise, however my opinion is that if you can fill out a fall 2015 housing application you are accepted – period. It’s not a computer glitch. However, if you don’t have access and are “non-renewable” you really don’t know what your status is other than you are not one of the first to receive acceptance, if at all. Every single person here has access to the housing page, so just having access cannot be significant. The only thing that is significant so far is if you can apply for housing for fall – and it seems that only a fraction of representative people here can do that. Sorry.
No one should be banking on “hints.” Yeah, it looks like non-renewable is not good (see last year’s threads), but everything’s still changing. Don’t turn down any other offers based on this game.
How do you check if your account is “non-renewable” or not?
Also, can anyone tell me where to find the “housing” page?
