Class of 2019 (the journey begins) - Sharing,Venting, Etc

@puma69‌ The flame means it’s a “hot topic” and the pin keeps it from moving down in the thread list (keeps it at the top). That was pretty funny @vocal1046

Thank you @MTMommaJAA! Cool. @vocal1046 is a quick and witty one! I’ll stop rolling…

Happy Monday everyone! May your mailboxes be full to the brim with snail mail acceptances.

… very very very quiet in here today …

Shhhhh…we’re hunting wabbits!

Oh just head over to the theater thread for a confusing post that is sure to entertain AND have you scratching your heads.

It will entertain for sure!!

^^I was soooo confused!

I just read that thread a few minutes ago…very harsh (and confusing), to say the least!

As I said in that thread- you can’t fight stupid…

So many responses… The philosophy of ‘if the shoe doesn’t fit, don’t wear it’ might have worked here. However, I have seen some posts on this forum as well that go round and round and round…

Sometimes it’s just fun to play the game…

^^^ O.M.G. That’s all…that was enough drama and confusion for one day. What…???

Especially on a “slow news” day. LOL

I couldn’t help myself. I hope her son is also successful in spite of his parent.

I found that post mostly sad and contradictory. CC is primarily for kids, I don’t think so. CCPA no one has ever heard of, again I don’t think so. Social media is sadly full of trolls.

the bit about how we are not like her quilting group was one of my favorites… that has to be an intense quilting group

Wow! That is one bitter woman - too many kids? not enough time to coddle them all? looking for someone/something to blame for her son’s lack of commitment or drive - entertaining but disturbing too.

^^^woah. Sounds like someone needs a hug. It seems a few posters really want to justify their decisions, parenting styles, whatever, by telling everyone else they did it wrong. Luckily, they are few and far between! Most of the CC posters on these threads are incredibly helpful and supportive and make the process a little less awful!

Toowonderful, you frequently make me laugh out loud. Yes, very intense posting there. I feel bad for her son, who, one deduces, is going to Depaul next year. I was worried for awhile that he got into UNSCA and I might run into her this weekend. It is always amazing, and sad, how needlessly aggressive some folks can be.
