How about FSU? I have seen a few Yes’ but nothing else. I saw a post under the FSU thread and emailed the gal last week and have heard nothing. However, I did get an email telling me to correct a mistake on the SSAR. Just wondering if anyone knows if all the academic boxes must be checked before a decision is given for the pre-screen. I’m also going with the “no news is good news” mantra. Love the Shrek reference @mtmom2015!

We heard back from FSU about a week ago. A few days later we got the SSAR email… so I think the two aren’t tied together. I’m wondering if any of the decisions have to do with your “preferred audition dates”? We heard from TSU with our audition date of Jan 17. Heard from FSU with our audition date of Feb 28th. Does anyone see a pattern?

I don’t think there is a pattern. I think every school does it’s own thing on it’s own time with very little thought for other schools or schedules

Thanks @mtkellbell, I will reach out to them again. If it is a no, I don’t understand why they would keep us hanging. I keep checking my email and acceptd messages. That SSAR thing is such a pain…don’t know why they don’t just accept transcripts. I wasn’t sure wether to leave a Psychology class on there or not, so I sent a follow up email to make sure I don’t have to redo it yet again.

We recieved the same SSAR email… After our invite… However, I still called admissions and they told me it was a mass email to about 15,000 students… It did not necessarily mean anything was wrong with your report… They looked up my D’s to make sure everything was fine for her…

@MTRaleighmom we are waiting for Ithaca in the same way…they passed a group about 2 weeks ago, and we never heard. Still waiting…I dont plan on following up with them unless another round goes by with no answer for us…I think it’s hard, but patience is the key.

@mtkellbell we requested audition at TSU for Jan. 17th and we have not heard yet. Submitted application on Oct. 15, so I don’t see a connection. Like @mtmom2015 said “the waiting, the waiting, the waiting…” I love that show!
I am hoping they had the holiday yesterday and maybe today we will hear…

Has anyone heard anything from UArts? Also, my friend passed Ithaca’s about 3 weeks ago and said it took them over a month to get back to her. We will probably be getting an answer closer to the deadline.

@patrice13 & @MTkellbell … Maybe TSU is doing it alphabetically? S’s friend who heard last week is an A… (Desperately trying to find order in chaos… LOL)

We are a “W”…

Way to poke a hole in my theory, @MTkellbell… Sheesh. LOL.

I’m sorry @MTmom2015!!! Just passing on the info! :-@

If Ithaca keeps to a similar schedule as last year it looks as if the next round of replies would be towards the end of this month. I am hoping that we hear something from Michigan around the 15th.

You’ll drive yourself nuts trying to figure any of this out, @MTmom2015!!! Don’t do it!!!

It is ultimately just like casting, a mystery that can be second guessed to the point of insanity.

Haha… I battle stress with humor. Obviously, there is no rhyme, reason, system, order or logical explanation for when or why these programs do what they do…

@MTmom2015 I did the same thing, kept me busy. There were several times I really thought I cracked the code! LOL

@MTmom2015 I have been playing the alphabet game in reverse with FSU. We are a C, so I was thinking maybe they started at the end of the alphabet! :)) It’s the lack of control or understanding that is maddening! Good thing we all have this forum!

Waiting for prescreen decisions is the worst!

@MTRaleighmom I noticed that over in MT Schools FSU posted on their thread that she’s been out but is back reviewing prescreens and all will hear by Friday. So if you don’t hear by then, I would check to make sure they dont need something.
