<p>Passed my U Michigan prescreen! Received an email about 30 mins ago. I submitted on October 14th, and I will be auditioning on campus on Jan 23rd

<p>D got the UMich yes to prescreen. @tmygirl, IU already called with an offer? CONGRATS! That is HUGE! Is this from the audition this weekend? Wondering if anyone else (well any girls) got IU calls?I think thatās the first acceptance of the season! You should start the thread!</p>
<p>Congrats @tmygirl, thats awesome! Did they say they would be letting people know this early? Obviously your son is very talented, but I always wonder how do they know with only one audition day down, and more to go? I guess it is best to go early! Did they give you any type of numbers as to how many passed pre-screen, and now how many they would give offers to?</p>
<p>We know a girl who received a call with a yes from IU also. She was at the first audition. At that audition IU said they will be auditioning about 130 people this year. Last year they accepted 33 total to yield a class of 11 and expect to do similar numbers this year. </p>

<p>Woo Hoo on passing Mich!!! My S was super bummed, but upward and onward!! Yes, he auditioned @ IU on Saturday and George Pinney called him while he was @ rehearsal on Monday. He was over the moon! The roller coaster has begun :-)</p>

<p>@tramsmom - I do not know about our friendās academic acceptance to IU, but she is a strong student with high test scores.</p>
<p>Iām new to this but trying to figure all of this craziness out. My son also got a call from IU on Monday offering him a spot in their MT program. He has already been academically accepted. We were happy he didnāt have a long wait. IU has a wonderful program but the OOS tuition is steep. </p>
