@Wickersham2365 the MTCA acceptance list had 4 Temple acceptance/WL this week. And they had a couple more in the past couple of weeks. How many students does Temple take?
@LAM2017 I auditioned for Temple at chicago unifieds and haven’t heard yet. Been checking the portal several times a day. the wait is KILLING me
@LAM2017 No clue on how many they take. At this point I guess not hearing is better than a NO.

@daughtersdreams - We thought the same thing & ALL of the schools seem to do that! A LOAN is not an AWARD in my book - haha! D didn’t understand at first - we had to sit her down and explain that the amount they say is your award really isn’t the whole picture.

came online and sw 68 notifications since yesterday! This board is busy! first, @marg928 congrats on Calarts! Hang in there everyone! I remember counting the numbers on the boards…its nerve wracking for sure. Couple of thoughts – for the person who posted about football schools: my D was adamant about having a NCAA team to root for, and she ended up blissfully happy at a conservatory! go figure! She had acceptances to big schools but in the end her “fit” was completely different than what she had thought. So keep yourself open to other possibilities.
@Mel2421 - it is VERY common for schools to “pad” their financial package with loans to make it look like you are getting more $$. Read the breakdowns carefully
I had no idea. Wow! I hope we have one to read soon. This is driving me nuts. 16 schools and not one acceptance yet. So nervous for my d. She wants it so bad.
Once the excitement of offers is over comes the really hard part… figuring out how to pay for it!
Glad to think there’s still a chance for Wagner. AND yes @MomofMTBoy gratitude for any standing offer. Will keep our fingers crossed! So many highs & lows right now with great news & not-so-great in rapid succession.
So, my D did a walk-in for Temple in Chicago. Her portal shows her application status as Incomplete - Items missing, but all that it shows missing is the audition. Does anyone know if that means they are waiting on the artistic decision on the audition, or have they not put her application together with her audition file since she auditioned prior to applying?

@KelviVan our Temple portal said the same thing but then changed about a week ago to something like “your application is complete and is just waiting for a decision” then it says during busy times it can take up to 8 weeks to notify! :))
No’s from CCM,FSU,Wright State,and Montclair. I did however get an on the spot admission into the MT program at Dean’s College. I auditioned as a walk in and know very little about the program other than that the head of MT used to be the head of acting at Emerson and director of theater at Yale. If anybody has heard anything about this program, good or bad, I would love to hear about it because so far it is my only yes.
