@Janine1 my D auditioned for Purchase on 1/29 and she got the no letter maybe a week later. She was accepted to the BA maybe two weeks after that.

Sad night here at home watching my D suffer from Ithaca Portal being shut down without any warning. Wish there was something I can do to make her feel better.
Yeah, that’s a cold, cruel thing @Zoogie. All I can say to everyone is hang in there. It’s hard when you see those multiple acceptances roll in and your still waiting for one bird in the hand. But all it takes is one. And somehow, miraculously, most times it ends up being the right one.
I hope I can get her to see that. This was a big blow. Thanks @CTDramaMom for your encouraging words. I’ve been stalking this page for so long. You are all such a huge help!
Anyone know when UCLA starts notifying?
Everyone needs to hang in there! There are so many notifications left to come out. And if by chance you’re on the waitlist think of it this way, if someone was accepted to five schools they can only pick one! I am also a big believer in contacting the school and letting them know you’re still very interested if they place you on a wait list.

Definitely contact the school if you’re on a waitlist to let them know it’s your first choice!

Long time lurker, first time poster. Thanks to everyone who shares their news, it helps. This is my second go round - my S was accepted and attended bfa acting program 2 years ago. It wasn’t a good fit so we ended with a gap year while we waited for this audition cycle. And no the waiting isn’t any easier this time, lol. Currently at 3 no, 1 yes, 2 waitlist, and waiting on 4 more. Which leads to my question. Does anyone have any experience with the U.K. Schools? When do they notify? There is very little on CC.
Anyone have any information on USC SDA decision day? We got that save the date which I know doesn’t imply admission, but would be nice to know if we need to book a flight to visit on the Open House April 8th if my D so happens to get in… Trying to use Spring Break wisely and hoping to have a school to visit

@kaf011 from what it sounded like on the USC thread, everyone gets the Save the Date card but then supposedly there is another invitation that comes which is supposed to be indicative of an acceptance. We got the first card but nothing else yet.
D just got an email from Ball State with redirect to theatre studies
