I just got my rejection from Kent State MT. It was a shock but I can’t say I’m too surprised. I have received zero acceptances from any MT programs I auditioned for. I am just so thankful and blessed that I also auditioned for almost as many acting programs! And I just checked my email and I was accepted into Point Park for Acting!!!

Because of the incoming snowstorm Pittsburgh is getting hit with Point Park decision Emails are going out early!
BW Email received today, subject line: decision day is 3/15. All will receive emails on that day for BFA Acting BW
My S just got his first (BFA) yes from Point Park acting! Still have a lot of schools we’re waiting on, but that takes a little pressure off. We received that BW email as well. So good luck to all!

D got her first out and out no from Belmont today. Feel bad for her because she loved the campus and felt a good vibe. I am thankful she has one yes cause I am afraid there are two more rejections coming down the pike. Congratulations to all getting good news and to those that aren’t I feel your pain!!!
Hart School came today via snail mail.
S got a first MT acceptance from Temple (with the not altogether clear letter in snail mail, but a much clearer letter in his portal)! And a nice scholarship to boot.

UWSP…University of Wisconsin Stevens Point email came out at 5:15 CST today for MT acceptances.
@guillelm my D just received her acceptance into Depaul Theater school today.
Two emails from Point Park - and we are so confused!!
One says: “Thank you for auditioning for the Theatre Department at Point Park University’s Conservatory of Performing Arts. I regret to inform you that you have not been artistically admitted into the Conservatory.”
The other says: “Congratulations! I am pleased to inform you that you have been artistically admitted into the Theatre Department at Point Park University’s Conservatory of Performing Arts as a Acting - B.F.A. candidate.”
She auditioned for both MT and Acting at Point Park – is it safe to assume that the “Thanks but no thanks.” is for MT?
It doesn’t say specifically.
Do you think they sent out the “Congrats” email by mistake and followed up with the blanket rejection?
