@ALS0830 the fact of the matter is you still have 7 more chances for a yes!! Your scorecard is just a tally til you’re done. Keep the faith- this is a tough time but you are not alone.

@ALS0830 Did you get an email from UWSP that nearly promised you were accepted into the program? My son got an email that said “We would love for you to join us.” No email for my son, either.
@LBSMOM we’re still waiting for Hartt as well. Something tells me the bad news always comes in the mail, the good news they like to deliver either on the phone or email.
Last year Hartt acceptance came via snail mail so keep the faith!

Anyone know if Temple sends out emails like Point Park? Or do they just update the Portal at some point?
@rpmjsmom Love your attitude! We all need to hang in! This whole audition process has been a learning experience. We are waiting on two more schools. And then we are done with this crazy road /head trip! Wishing you all the best!
@daughtersdreams - My D received an e-mail offer, and her portal still reads incomplete. But, I may have read that someone else found out about their acceptance via the portal…

@ALS0830 don’t give up on uwsp. The email said they were in the process of creating their freshman class…so we are thinking that the emails may be coming out gradually?!?
Surprised that UWSP sent out emails this year. Last year they personally called accepted students (for MT anyway) and if I remember correctly phone has been their normal mode of contacting accepted students…maybe the weather is affecting everyone this year with getting decisions out!
@stagedoormama I have a friend at UWSP that was accepted for BFA MT via email last year! Maybe it varies!
@daughtersdreams - my S received an email academic acceptance to Temple last week, then got a letter in the mail today saying that he’d met the ‘audition requirements for MT’ but that final decision was pending academic admission. So then he logged back into his portal, where he found the letter accepting him formally into the MT program with the scholarship info!
@efr9598 The wording of these emails and letters is frustrating. When this is all over, I’m going to offer my editing services to these programs so that can communicate more clearly and NOT give us all anymore heart attacks than necessary.

@daughtersdreams I completely agree - my S and his dad had a back and forth trying to determine if he had been accepted into the MT program or not (S said yes, given that he knew he’d been accepted academically; his dad said it wasn’t confirmed yet - that’s what prompted him to log in to the portal to confirm his status!!)

@daughtersdreams we also received an email but the portal remained “incomplete” We did contacted IT to update the portal. At first IT stated that it remained incomplete because she did not get admitted to the program. We actually had to send them the email we received. I guess I would wait until you receive a confirmation from TFMA one way or another and then contact IT if the portal still isn’t updated. Hoping for good news for your D!
@KelviVan congrats! You may want to contact IT for them to update the portal. It seems like it takes forever for TFMA to communicate the acceptances to IT. But, then again “forever” is relative. I felt like it was forever and it was about four days! Are you going to admitted students day? We are trying to go 3/25.
D received a waitlist for Drake. Nice for her to get some good news!!
