Thanks for the encouragement @Monkeiiboy! Today was a great day she won a superior for her solo at our FL Thespian State Festival! It really helped lift her spirits!

and we moved from NY four years ago and my D had no interest in going back to cold weather! She loves it here! We are in the bay area.

@singoutlouise @nodaybut2daymom Hang in there and no news could be good news with CCM. Last year my D was in the same boat. Auditioned at NY Unifieds in January, placed on hold and waited and waited as acceptances, rejections and WL were posted. Nothing. Just one other CC’er also on hold forever. Finally the word came - not sure when but it was probably around this time - and it was a no, but we later found out that that final hold group contained only six kids, so it was at least affirmative in that way. And PS my D and the other CC’ers D wound up at the same school in the end - and are (I believe) very happy there!

Anyone accepted to Ball State for MT? We are waiting…
Daughter got the acceptance call from Elon MT ! She is thrilled and going to accept as it’s her first choice. She was also accepted to Montclair MT and Rider MT, so she will be letting them know she’s not going to attend their schools. Anyone on their waiting lists, 2 spots just opened up.
S got the redirect to BA from Ball State, and acceptance from CCPA (with scholarship) and ASU. We’re waiting on money info from ASU. Still waiting to hear from a couple of schools including UArts.
@theotherparent- my D got accepted into ASU too, for MT. Did you check your portal? I about fell over when I saw the artistic scholarship on the portal (it was big). She got a provost scholarship too, so I told her to forget your other schools, you are going to ASU!!! Seriously though, with the new director that came from Ithaca, the program sounds really good. They have the Gammage Theatre on campus that the national tours all come to and they just announced that they are teaming up with the Phoenix Theatre to get the kids into a professional theatre as part of their coursework.This program might be one to watch.
