@mtmom911 I auditioned NYC Unifieds and still nothing. I hope that is a good thing. I want Hartt so badly.
D auditioned in Chicago for Ball State and has not heard anything. Looks like they are about to go on spring break, so guess she’ll be waiting some more
@mtmom911 My D is a Jr. at Hartt, and like @sopranomtmom , I am happy to answer any questions! Congratulations!!
@MusTheaFam My D auditioned for Ball State at NY Unifieds and has not heard either.
I didn’t know their Spring Break is this week. Guess we have to wait a little bit longer.
Could be wrong, but admissions may not close for spring break nor some of the departments.
@MTMOM17 We got a no for BFA Acting Ball State yesterday via email auditioned at Chicago Unifieds
I’m sorry to hear that @Mom2E! Did you audition is NY? My D auditioned for MT.
@MTMOM17 Chicago Unifieds
@back2work I hope your daughter gets an amazing yes!
I also appreciate you keeping it real.
My D received an acceptance from Hartt today… she’s thrilled!!!
(Auditioned at NYC unifieds; snail mail notification)
Is LIU two admits? Artistic and academics? Is a kid can put a deposit down does that mean they are in?
@bisouu Yes they are
D got Montclair socks today. In The Club. :))
@dontaskme1 So if she can make a deposit that means she’s in?
@bisouu you will recieve academic admit before program. Separate letters. Don’t put down a deposit until you call and confirm.
@dontaskme1 sorry I am so dense…she already got an email from the department telling her she has been admitted to their BFA program but nothing about the academic admit. So she just waits?
I just wanted to say that reading about everyone’s acceptances on this thread makes me so so happy!! I can only imagine the excitement you must feel
Yes, LIU is 2 admits. My D received an email for the academic admit, and then a letter for the artistic admit. The letter was small, just fyi - not the bigger acceptance packet most schools send.
Thanks @KTVoice !
For any sophomores and juniors, and parents: Last fall my daughter participated in this regional unified audition day and program fair. It was GREAT practice. Students do one song and one monologue for all program faculty attending, and then programs post callbacks - and hold a table fair for students to gather information, speak with faculty, ask questions. My D did this her junior and senior year - and aside from finding couple of programs she really liked, had invaluable practice thinking through her answers to interview questions. It really helped her during the audition season. https://www.midatlanticauditions.com. Keep it on your radar!
