@owensfolks Congrats to your D and to you! I have also been following your story since last year. I’m so happy your D has 4 acceptances that are real options she can get excited about, and I’m also happy for you both that you have reached the end of this road (except for the all-important decision-making process!).
My S has several acceptances. From his safety to his reach schools. He doesn’t have 1 set school in mind. Because he is a boy he didn’t do much research lol (not like my daughters would do) We struggle to find which one is going to be a good fit. They all sound so great. It’s just so hard to really know where the differences are between the BFA’s. They are all BFA MT and 1 BFA ACTING.
I’d love to know what Pace’s process is as well. I don’t know anybody who’s heard anything but the few who got the yes phone calls.
Pace is killing us!! At the auditions they stated we would hear in 2 weeks time. That was Feb 9 and March 3. (auditioned for MT and FTVC). No letters, emails, calls nada. They are my son’s fave school. Just want to know!! Give us good news Pace!!
Hi! So it’s possible there are still Pace Acting calls to go out? Has anyone gotten rejections? Are those via email? Congrats to those who have heard!
My son got a yes from BU too! Only need to hear from one more school and this phase is done! Let the college visits begin. 
@owensfolks, so happy that you can finally forge ahead! After reading about the year you had last year, I’m thrilled that you can move on at this point. What a journey. Congratulations on a successful year - and finishing this whole process on the early side this time!

Pace email today BFA FTVC that he’s out of the country and the snow days caused a delay with mailers. To expect packages within a few days. They went out yesterday.
@JayCee17 sounds like a good conversation you had. I’d give anything for one solid acceptance for my kid right now.
@actingdreams that’s interesting, since there is barely any snow here in NYC. But good to know we’re not the only one waiting for any sign of life from them (besides the weekly call from admissions that doesn’t leave a voicemail)
@DramaQueen219 I just read the email sent. it says that the official letters were delayed by some bad weather and spring break and that everyone should receive their letter (package) within a few days. He will try to make some calls as soon as he returns but the letters may have already arrived before he returns. Sorry for the confusion
my son recieved undeclared letter from Montclair but it took 3 weeks to get MT acceptance
My D received another No yesterday from Roosevelt. When I asked her how she was feeling about it she said “Another day, another rejection.” She received 5 early acceptances in a row and then five rejections in a row with three of them being this week. She is so strong and resilient. We are still waiting on five more schools including one more audition. This process is just wild. Congrats to all who received good news this week!!
@mandidnam Geez. Good for your D! Glad she can be tough during this time, and has some acceptances to be excited about amidst the rejection.
Congrats to everyone with good news, and “hang in there” to the rest! My D is in the slightly less stressful position of 2 acceptances (both at less-known regional BFA MT programs), 5 noes, and 6 unknown yet (2 of these she is presuming are “no.”) I am glad she has a choice. Can’t wait for everything to be settled!
Reposting: Does anyone have the data on how many students these programs accept and what their goal yield is? I found data from 2014 on a past thread. Anyone have more up to date info? I’m actually more interested in expected yield.
