@fancytheatrekid I’m thinking the same thing, my sighted was told by the person she spoke to that she didn’t have that access. I’m thinking that means “don’t want to tell you about rejection but ver the phone.” Especially bc after audition she came out and knew it wasn’t a great one, so she wasn’t expecting an acceptance.

@Luvmykids08 my D loved Ball too but only after visiting so it made a difference. She is visiting the school we thought she would be at one more time before deciding (although it is more expensive so I hear you). Is he in the 2018 Ball group message for accepted students?

@Divamamacita has a D over at Ball State - she’s a junior now. And I think she chose Ball State (chirp chirp!) over Hartt. Don’t quote me … but maybe she’ll pop on over and chime in.

@Luvmykids08 … without commenting specifically on the BFA program at Ball State, I can tell you it’s a great school … I’m a Hoosier and know LOTS of kids that go to BSU and adore it. I honestly don’t think you’ll go wrong if he chooses BSU - it’s a strong program in a pretty darned good school.
Congrats on your first birdie leaving the nest! I cried buckets when the first one went off. Cupfulls on the second. And now as an empty nester, the hubby and I are having a great time. =))
@KaMaMom, I’ve been an emotional mess the past few months, with his last shows, concerts, etc. I can only imagine how much harder it will get.
@fancytheatrekid & @Trish0118 & @Luvmykids08 Awesome acceptances, all around. @Trish0118 I pm’d you my approval to order a big drink tonight, before I saw your post that it was already in the works! @fancytheatrekid 2 of my BFFs graduated from Fredonia, and it is a really, really great school. My NC gal wouldn’t hear of going to school “practically in Canada”-but I think most kids would be very happy there.
@fancytheatrekid Congrats!!! My S was redirected to Acting at Fredonia, and I was more upset then he…for us, in state tuition and the exceptional program there would’ve been a dream. I’m secretly hoping he’d consider going and possibly re-audition for MT. Big congrats!

I’ve seen a couple of older comments about kids going to schools in another major and re-auditioning at the end of their freshman year for MT and getting accepted for that major. I have been under the impression that if you don’t get accepted for MT as a freshman you aren’t going to be able to change to MT at a later date. Can anybody speak to this? Is there another thread where I should look for more information about this?

@fancytheatrekid I hear you. Wagner is near the top of HIS list right now and he is not paying much attention to mine. He’s also WL for his “first love” - it feels like a big game of Strategy!
