Thank you all for your opinions. We sent in all of our personal information and financials but they want company financials and my husbands partners are not on board with sending it to a school that may or may not even accept her. I totally get their stance but I don’t want it to interfere with her admission process. I am going to call the school tomorrow.

Thanks for heads up @mtmaybe. Still nothing from CCM. S received a “strong consideration” hold early February. In that email, school said auditions would end 2/10 and notification would be provided “soon thereafter.” Of course, “soon thereafter” means something different to everyone you ask. I took it to mean 7-10 days. End of week? Two weeks? End of month? All might qualify!

@mtmaybe got our CCM rejection today too… trying to help my girl stay positive and she is doing a pretty good job… but 4 rejections in a short amount of time of course is discouraging.
@savedrama4momma Rejections are so tough. If you are accepted at a 20% rate, that is fantastic when all is said and done. But it does mean that you might hear eight "no"s before a “yes” or two.

@savedrama4momma I hear ya. We’re still waiting on a ‘yes’ as we head out for Ithaca shortly. Just one yes would boost confidence for both of us. But, since mine didn’t apply to the ones most of y’all are getting responses from, we’re not hearing much of anything yet (if that makes sense). No news is better than bad news, I’m trying to tell myself. We still have two more definite auditions after this weekend, while we wait, and wait, and wait.

I just got into LIU post MT. Does anyone know their acceptance rate? How difficult is it to get in? Anyone who I can ask questions to??
@kategrizz BAL to your daughter. We will be driving down early Sunday morning for her audition at 10. It is closing night for her show on Saturday. Wish we would be able to see Hair. Good news is the driving weather looks good for the weekend to Ohio. BAL everyone this weekend with auditions and shows!

@mommafaria Regarding NYU, as stated above, they are one of the latest to share acceptances, pretty much right around 4/1, maybe a day or two before at most. And, I think you hear you are in, and then a bit later, WHICH studio, which is further waiting.
