im confused is this a second decision? is it just for ross? i applied EA to LSA but was deferred. Does that mean I get a different decision today too?
Iām not sure, sorry. If this helps I was accepted EA into Michigan in December and they sent me an email in the beginning of January letting me know when to expect an update from Ross.
You need to be admitted the āhome schoolā (LSA, COEā¦) before Ross will view your application. Did you apply for Ross preferred admit? If yes be patient.
If you did not, you will hear about your admission decision in RD waves .
Sorry, catch me up please. How many Ross applicants do we think there are overall?
do they send ross out in the order received? because I submitted my ross application on October 12th
https://michiganross.umich.edu/undergraduate/bba/admissions/first-year-applicants
scroll to bottom of that pg
6707 applied last year and 807 got in
remember that more than that applied and the 6707 is only reflective of those who were first accepted to umich then ross, bc there were also more than 6707 ppl that applied ross but got rejected from mich so werent considered
I have not heard back yet in state. is there a chance we will be hearing more tonight?
idk but prob not. 4 weeks til next wave
i applied preferred admit, however i want to double major in lsa and ross. Lol did i apply for the wrong kind of admit? i mean i say what i want to do in my essay so maybe it wont matter
I got accepted!!! (after getting deferred) Donāt lose hope yāall
Hi , were/are there any decisions for LSA for deferred applicants in the past 24 hours?
Hang in there. I am not sure you can double major in Ross and LSA. You can get a BBA with a LSA minor or a dual degree with other units. I could be wrong.

My son was looking at dual degree with engineering at one point. Then he woke up from that nightmare⦠Lol⦠It might be right for some people. But thereās sooo many opportunities at Michigan to do other things. Plus some people enjoy sleep ?.
any chance of more decisions today?
Did anyone hear from Ross last night? My son is waiting on Ross preferred admission.
No, next wave is February 28th
I got in yesterday!
Forgive my ignorance⦠but why would someone study business as an undergrad? You have to go to grad school anyway, so why would you narrow now? Honest question.
I donāt think thatās true. The entire population of acceptances in 2019 was a little less than 15,000 acceptances. And CoE and LSA are much larger classes/schools. I believe the 6,707 Ross apps were out of the total 65,000 total apps to UMich.
Yes, thereās a separate āaccepted Rossā thread here in this forum.
