5 more days guys!!
Meant U of M: University of Michigan.
No one has answered the chance me, so thought, I must be doing it wrong?
Did not receive
@RaLaSrSa I would guess the county the school is in but I do not know for sure. I am just a prospective student. That being said I also cannot say for sure if the school you go to matters. My main point was that there is are a lot of admissions reps and as you saw when you are In state your own county gets a rep so I believe that they can read every application in a month and a half. The university employs 49,000 people in total, the resources are there.
I looked at the past 3 years of Michigan school calendars, for all the years that the decisions were released on a Wednesday, school got out on a Thursday. This year, the calendar is different. School doesnāt get out until Friday. After seeing this pattern, I wonder if it could possibly be Thursday because admissions seems to release the decisions the day before school ends for break. Do you think this could be plausible?
My DS did not get an email
Did not receive the email or any emails from then since I submitted my app. Yikes!
@benandjerrys101 not even the one to set up ur portal??
Iām seeing a lot of mixed things on this forum⦠So, statistically, the EA decisions were released Wednesday/Friday⦠were those decisions also estimated to come out Christmas Eve?! It could really make or break my Christmas spirit!
My money is on @sushiritto !!
Hello everyone, I replied under this forum and I was wondering if anyone can chance me?
Out of state applicant here: To clear up the notion about Michigan deferring applicants because they donāt have time to review, I emailed my rep asking about this, and he assured me this wasnāt the case. However, we of course have to what they say with a grain of saltā¦
They should truly put out a date of release, this all is absolutely ridiculous. The college process is stressful, you would think colleges would care enough to be specific on their notification dates, yet many do not. Is it to promote their Twitter, Facebook, Instagram accounts?? Seriously, just tell us the date.
The release date may not be important you will know anyway. But in reality sooner is better as we can strategize the RD applications if we knew the results before the end of HS term. I called U Michigan Admission Office and was told that the decision would be released on 24 December. Then financial offer may come after one week. I really phoned the Admission Office, but this sounds not correct ? Anyway need one acceptance as soon as possible.
Hey yāall,
Iām from Oklahoma and I just want to know when we will receive our decisions back for EA. I applied to LSA and my portal also says that iāll hear back Dec 24, but I have a feeling weāll hear back earlier? Thanks
Hi, current freshman at Michigan here! I am 99.99% sure of 2 things- 1) You will hear back EA on Wednesday, December 18th 2019. 2) Michigan did defer 5% of EA applicants last year just because they got so many they could not review all of them in time to get answers back. Maybe this is a rumor, but I donāt trust the admissions officers who will obviously say this is a lie. Good luck to all you future Wolverines, you can do it! Do not stress- if youāre meant to be at Michigan, it will work out. I promise.
You will hear back BY Dec. 24th. Meaning BEFORE. If you look at past threads, itās historically the last 3 years on the Weds. Before. The five years previous to that it was a Friday. Check out earlier in the thread. Good luck!
Iāve heard a lot about deferring bc they donāt have time to review but to me that doesnāt make sense given that they are releasing decisions early. If they didnāt have time to review all of them, they wouldnāt have released early in the past
If I submitted my application in Septemberā¦does that mean they waited until November to read it?
when we hear back do we post the decision w our stats on this thread or will someone make a new thread just for the ea results?
