That is the link I checked but it only goes to the black screen saying EA is processed… can no longer see anything else.
YES! OOS with an X next to Final High School Transcript
Last name B. I applied Political Science LSA and I have the X. I’m an OOS student
But again as there will not be any denials in this round, there’ll only be either Acceptances or Defers? So possible options Red check against Final Transcript and Final Transcript not showing up, respectively for those two options? Gotta love good Conspiracy theories.
applied for LSA, OOS, last initial C, no X
X (final transcript), OOS/LSA, H
I’m pretty sure the last name has no correlation with getting the X. My friends who got the X have last initials from both ends of the alphabet.

Mine has a big x next to “high school fall term grades” what does this mean??
If the theory holds, then my guess that fall term grades are requested from the deferred students. Sorry ?♀️
X, final transcript, Engineering, OOS
I see an X - my DD is in-state, last name begins with S, applied to LSA.
After talking to multiple people at my school, there seems to be a correlation between the X and people who were expected to get in.

Same thing at my school. It can’t just be a coincidence.

My son has an x next to final transcript. OOS. Applied to kinesiology with preferred to Ross. Last name starts with K.
I’m in state, and I applied to LSA. I don’t have the final transcript listed and my last initial is T.
Seems like too many X for OOS students, though, given the lower OOS acceptance rate.
I honestly don’t think the X means anything. They ask some deferrals for their transcripts as well to make sure that they stay on track and such. Want to make sure that grades aren’t dropping and whatnot. I wouldn’t buy into it, and I doubt Michigan would make it so easy to access something that lets you know of your decision before they release them. Seems like a sketchy assumption to me
So I guess we’ll find out soon whether this has any merit to it. Anyone think this is wrong?
I don’t have an X nor a “final transcript” line, I’m OOS, and last name initial is S… I’m freaking out now—do we think the X means accepted or deferred or nothing at all???
why wouldn’t it be person with x is deferred? because don’t deferred students have to send in their second semester grades. is that why it says final?
