Our app stills says incomplete, but all our items are checked. Apparently, the next status is “ready for review”. Daughter applied late Oct to Nursing. She is a WRECK. UNH is tied with UVM as her first choices.
Has anyone received an acceptance in the mail yet? My daughter refuses to check the portal! UGH! LOL
She doesn’t want to check any of her applications on portals…wants to wait for snail mail deliveries. She likes to be surprised! But her mom and dad (me) wish she would just check the portals!!
@kvallu5274 I received my acceptance in the mail last week. When did she apply? What major? I got into the school of engineering so her decsision should be in the portal.
thanks @lucapuleo0009. She applied as a Psychology major in early November. I’m sure it’s in the portal but my daughter doesn’t want to check in the portal!

kvally5274 I think that there are a lot of applications that haven’t even been reviewed yet. My son applied in October and his Portal still says it is complete waiting for review.
We are OOS and DD portal still says “Incomplete-items outstanding” which admissions states this means its in preliminary review so hasn’t even reached complete-under review status. She submitted her application on Nov 1 to both UNH and the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. UM-TC states admissions decisions by Jan 31 and she received her admit decision 18 days later. I guess patience is in order as this process is different for different universities and students. Best of luck to all!
My D20 won’t be home from a school activity til this evening, but I just found a BIG envelope from UNH in the mail. Looks like it could be an acceptance, but we’ve got to wait til she gets home and opens it to find out. I don’t think she got an email, or if she did she didn’t say anything.
We are still waiting. Status says under review.

D accepted into OT program today. Has anyone received any merit aid? We didn’t see anything in the portal.
@kvallu5274 Yes and no.
Accepted to the university, but not to the Nursing Major. A little surprising considering the other acceptances she has that we thought would be tougher. But not surprising considering she demonstrated no interest there and didn’t visit even though we live about 2 hours away.
It’s all good, she has some other great choices.
My son found out he got in as a Chemical Engineering major last night on the portal. No information yet about financials…I’m thinking that may be included in the actual packet that gets mailed? Any thoughts?
Applied nov. 11th for animal science major in the dairy program. From CT. My ‘internal check’ was completed on dec. 17. So, I guess waiting game starts now.
A friend of me received her acceptance letter today. Nothing about money. She applied for animal science but got accepted to the university and for her ‘alternate major’… (which they assumed was within the liberal arts college) which she never put in.
My daughter got admit on the portal on Tuesday and got the packet in the mail today, Friday. She was awarded the presidential scholarship and has been accepted into their honors program within the business school. She is top 5%, 1410 sat and 4.7 gpa out of 5.
My daughter got in today on the portal. Waiting for package.
We are now "“complete - ready for review” status. How long until we know something?
@MortgageMamma My son’s status says the same. The next step is “under review”, so I think it’s going to be a while unfortunately.
My daughters has said that for about a month now. Ugh! Lol
@MortgageMamma My daughter’s portal had said “ready for review” since Dec.5. Still waiting. She did get in to UVM and is leaning toward going there. My older daughter is currently a junior at UNH. Can’t go wrong either way!
