Yes.
Stats for this year’s entering class probably won’t be out until late fall (when D24 applied the latest information was 22/23, at some point before decisions I happened to look again and it was updated for 23/24).

Yeah - seem to recall it was in the late November timeframe right around the same time colleges were updating their websites with the latest common data set.

Usually that link gets mentioned somewhere along the line in the broader VT thread(s).
VT is an anomaly in that they publish that data but not an anomaly in that the dynamic within the different programs, demographics, etc is the same at every school (acknowledging that the more/less competitive programs will vary school to school). Layer in yield protection strategies and the criteria a school focuses on and all you can do is try to put your best foot forward on the applications and hope for the best.

VT’s information was really helpful for D24 when we were determining a good mix of likely/match/reach schools. Overall, VT would have been a match, factoring in her major and demographics, it was a reach.
+1 on taking the VT specific essays seriously, the admissions presentation at the open house D24 and I went to really highlighted how important they are in the admissions process.

Anyone else hear of folks getting in off waitlist?
Nope.
My kid has a few classmates who have gotten off other schools’ waitlists this week, but I don’t know if those schools are May 1 or May 15 deposit deadline schools.
If we don’t see much movement in the second half of May, it will be tough to remain optimistic about VT.

We got one of those from another school on Friday. I’ve only seen a few sprinkle in over the last few weeks on FB, but really like one every few days, nothing in bulk…
Well, if there’s any waitlist fun to be had, it may start tomorrow.
