<p>Can someone calculate my class rank it is 225/321 am I bottom half or top half. And how important is this to colleges like University at Buffalo and University at Albany</p>

<p>if you can’t even figure out how to calculate a percentage, then…well…your chances are not too good</p>
<p>Well I figured that my class rank was bottom half just wanted to confirm with people. My GPA is a 88% I took all Regents classes and my SAT is an 1100/1600, only my class rank sucks. And according to collegeboard 92% of students admitted to UB had a top half class rank or better which makes me a bit uneasy.</p>
<p>The rest of your application would have to be pretty amazing, and you would have to have some good reason for low grades (health problems, family emergencies, etc.). That’s not to say you won’t make it anywhere, but you should be realistic about your application and where you’re looking to attend.</p>
<p>Thanks Nova, I have had some family problems these past couple years (lost family in iraq, became to obsessed in V. Wrestling) But I am 99% sure that colleges dont want to hear me sit and make excuses.</p>
