<p>If my school doesn’t weight GPA or rank, how do they figure out who’s valedictorian/salutarian? Because I’m sure lots of people have 4.0’s…do they take into account AP’s and honors and weight GPA’s just to figure that out?</p>

<p>Oh, and do teachers keep your grades? Like percentages…because regardless of whether you get an 89.5 or 100, you get an A on your report card at my school. Do they take into account your percentages when figuring out val/sal? Or just your overall grades.</p>

<p>My school uses percentages and they weight honors 1.06 and AP as 1.08 but they don’t report rank or GPA and it varies by school.</p>
