Class Rigor Explanation

Hello Int Students
So I just had a question about explaining in my application of why I couldn’t take any Ap classes until senior year. I moved from Korea to Illinois and skipped 9th grade to go in 10th grade. Because I skipped a whole grade, I had to make up all the credits during my sophomore and junior year. Therefore, I had to take 2 math classes during my soph year and 2 science classes during my junior year, while taking 9th grade english during the summer. This completely filled my schedule during my 10th~11th year, and so I was unable to take any AP classes until now, senior year. I feel like this could be very important to state in my application when colleges review my class rigor. So, should I state this in my essay? The problem is I feel like I would be stating facts in my essay, and that wouldn’t be too good… What do you guys think??

Thanks!
