Ok, so I kind of failed this year(freshman year) and I have not stopped crying for the past week cause it all just hit me. I really want to study philosophy(and possibly lit or psychology) as an undergrad, but my parents don’t support it. The deal was if I get into a top school, I can study what I want, if I don’t, it’s either a comp sci or medicine(I come from an Asian family.) I got a 3.2 average this year and I really need to pick it up. I want to go to Princeton, but I’ve done some research and hear they don’t calculate freshman gpa, however they do look at class rank. I really need to push myself. I was that kid that could get a 100 on every test but would get a B on the class because of homework, so I know I’m not dumb. My plan is to take 3 AP’s next year(Spanish Language and Culture, Bio, and history) and these I know are going to be incredibly hard. The thing is I also love English, so I could take honors english, but don’t know what I should because of the workload and I need strait A’s. So 2 AP’s and honors english or 3 AP’s and no honors english or math. Help?

Thanks
