Before starting the post, I want to clarify that I go to a highschool that’s ranked within the top 15 schools in CA and 100 in the nation by niche and 2 other sites.

Some of my schools academic policies are ridiculous, so I am planning on taking classes at a local community college (el Camino) in Spanish or Physics. Would this look bad on an App? (My schedule for next year is filled with all APs and Honors)

I don’t see why it would look bad. You would still be taking APs and honors at school, correct?

Actually - surprise!!/not - colleges consider that the best predictor of college success is… previous success in college.
So, take Spanish, Physics, art history, urban studies, and/or whatever you want at El Camino, and DO WELL, it’ll actually help your application! :slight_smile:
