@youremybluesky Congratulations. Interesting that your daughters came by certified mail. My son, NY also, received his acceptance in the Tigertown Bound package. His didn’t come by certified mail.
My hack changed today for my OOS (NY) son (see below). Nothing in the mail, so I guess we sit and wait He’s still waiting to hear from UGA and UF.

Mine changed today too! They must be working weekends. I sure hope it doesn’t change back.
I haven’t heard anything yet. Should I be worried?
@jcdoyle I was wrong… my husband said it was certified but I just asked him again and it became clear he does nott know what certified mail means lol. We did have to pick it up at the post office but maybe our mailbox was just full.
@youremybluesky - hysterical! Congrats to your daughter! Anxious to see what the scholarship numbers are when they arrive. Planning a visit to Clemson once my sons basketball season is over.
@jrrugg Not at all. The vast majority of decisions are made in Feb. Last year it looked like between Feb 8 and 15 was the big time. I think right now it just seems like everyone is getting an acceptance because they are finally making a small dent in their massive pile. Also some of the scholarships that in past years would have gone out in Nov and Dec are just going out now. Admissions said they didn’t send as many out in the previous two waves as compared to last year. Probably because they have had an increase in applications.
Does anyone know if Clemson values anything more than the other (like test scores, legacy, gpa, rank)
Per the CDS, the following are considered Very Important
Rigor, Class Rank, GPA, SAT, State Residency
@colleges9170 I saw your post where you listed some of your stats. Do you mind sharing your class rank? Legacy is listed as “important” so that will help a little.
Yes!
Rank: 17 out of 385
Gpa: 4.8 w and 3.9 uw
@colleges9170 I’ll be surprised if you don’t get in. You’ve got 4/5 of the very important factors (I’m assuming you have rigor with that rank/gpa), and 1/1 Important factor from the Common Data Set. Granted that’s from 2017, but it seems to still be holding true.
Thank you so much!! I’m keeping my fingers crossed??
I recently sent in my fall semester transcript and I’m worried it will hurt me. I actually raised my unweighted gpa from a 3.6 to a 3.7 (my school doesn’t weight)… but my class rank dropped from the top 15% to the top 19%?! I’m super worried. Will clemson reject me because of this? My act is a 30
@kgracey17 I’m no expert, but I’ve been through this process with my kids a few times and I don’t believe that will hurt you AT ALL.
@ConfidentialUser71 my three all applied on August 1 and have not heard anything. I am not feeling hopeful.
=((
Does anyone know what happens via the hack if you are NOT going to be accepted?? I am trying to prepare myself for bad news. I’m not feeling very confident and it’s breaking my heart.
If it’s any consolation @4n2yrs, my daughter also applied immediately on 8/1 and nothing here yet, either. It sounds like the bulk of decisions don’t happen until 2/15, so let’s not lose hope!
@4n2yrs I spoke to someone from admissions late last week for about 15mins and she told me that the majority of the acceptances will go out week of 2/15 so there’s still A LOT of hope!
@4n2yrs sorry, I don’t know what happens, have you tried the hack for all 3? I would guess the not accepted hack wouldn’t change until closer to 2/15. Since last week I have been afraid to try the hack anymore - still waiting… we still have a few weeks.
