For those where the hack worked. What exactly happened that your “status changed” I’ve been trying and it just says unable to determine. However I hope this isn’t bad news, I was pretty confident with a 32 3.9 and a lot of EC. Hope this isn’t bad news…
Most of the decisions will arrive by 2/15. In years past, it’s been around 2/12. So, maybe start trying the hack daily beginning around 2/5. If it changes from “Unable to determine your acceptance status” to something that tells you to enter the code from your acceptance letter, you then have advance notice of an acceptance letter coming your way.
It looks like Clemson gave notice to some 1500+ SATs in November, followed by some 1400+ in December, and now the people hearing seem to be over 1350.
The rest will likely hear a decision by 2/15 as promised.
My daughter got her acceptance in the mail yesterday. I noticed the hack had changed last week as well. She is being offered a scholarship, but the letter states she will know how much in February. We are in Rhode Island.
What would be a good ACT score to get into Clemson?
@jjrrugg
From Clemson’s page on 2018 freshmen class:
SAT Middle 50%: 1230-1390 • In-State – 1220-1370
ACT Middle 50%: 27-32 • In-State – 27-31
Does Clemson have a tendency to accept more instate or out of state student, or do they not look at that? Thanks!
@Traveler2019
You can google Clemson data and find these answers. Last year, 7401 S.C. students applied 3951 were admitted. 21,443 out of state students applied, 9659 were admitted.
I can’t believe I just found this after a child there for 4 years and another applying now, but it is right on the Clemson website. It is an interactive Factbook that you can change from in-state to out-of-state and look at the admit rates by location and academic college for fall 2018 and many years before that. Click on the Ug admissions tab and play around with it. It is quite telling!
