Clemson University 2024 Accepted Students

We signed up as well but we’re local so it isn’t much effort for us to attend. Just a day trip and we’ll even be able to make it home in time for D20’s LAX game! We’re not going to all her admitted students days at other schools but had a bad Spring Blitz experience and wanted a “do-over”!

@mebmama were you there during the tornado warning?

When are “Future Tiger Days”?

@sunnyschool http://www.clemson.edu/visit/events.html#future

Thanks! @Tigerwife92
The dates look difficult b/c only one for his major…how essential is this program?

@sunnyschool it’s completely optional, and I’m assuming it’s like most admitted student days, tours and info sessions. Has he already taken a tour for his particular college/major at Clemson? If not, he could probably take one on another day. If the dates don’t work, visiting on Spring Game day is always fun; I don’t think the date has been announced yet, but it’s usually around the first weekend in April.

@CollegeorBustNE Yes! And we were soaked and miserable - not a great day - ha!

We were there during the tornado warning as well @mebmama and @CollegeorBustNE … I have never been so wet. Hoping Future Tiger Days (and this year’s Spring Blitz) have better weather!

Congrats to everyone accepted so far and good luck to the rest. Although we haven’t received the final financial packages from everyone, or honors college result from CU, my son came to me and said he has decided on Clemson. Since we are instate, he will probably not do much better elsewhere and since it is where he wants to be, we have shut down the process and sent our decline emails to the other schools. #Allin

@86grad How does it feel to have a decision in hand like that? As a parent with 8 colleges, 5 honors programs, and way too many scholarships…and a son that has no idea which of those are his first choice, I think I’m in for a very long few months.

I am relieved for the moment. But my daughter will be a senior next year so we will do it all again in a few months. I will say that my son is in better spirits. I think he was really stressing even though he had multiple acceptances and some good merit aid. He is just glad to be done with the process as he didn’t like to write essays and hated the interviews he had.

Wait, what? Your daughter applied as a junior? Just to get it out of the way? I didn’t even know they accepted students that early.

@ajinfante Pretty sure that @86grad is talking about 2 different siblings. Son was accepted this year, daughter will start applying to schools next year.

That’s right. My son was accepted this year. My daughter is a year behind so we are starting to look at schools with her.

That’s exciting @86grad! Clemson is my daughter’s #1 choice but she’s waiting to hear about the Honors College and scholarship amount (we are OOS). She has had some other wonderful acceptances and scholarship offers so we are crossing our fingers for her. These next few months will be exciting. Our son didn’t make up his mind until mid-April and it was a relief when he did! Good luck going through this again with your daughter next year!

@jse1820 Thank you and good luck to your daughter. I’m sure she will make the best choice for her. Where did your son go?

@86grad He’s out-of-state at University of Kentucky in engineering. He carefully weighed all his options and thankfully it all worked out. Absolutely loves it which is very nice as a parent!

My daughter was accepted a while back for engineering ( in state ) and she decided to accept, since it is the cheapest for us ( probably only room and board ). Another school sent her a financial package ( after scholarship ) and it was close to 40.000$, she rolled her eyes and next day paid the 200$ Clemson enrollment fee.

How do applicants receive their decision? Is it through a portal? iROAR?
