Ours are back too. Not going to jump to any conclusions on what it means. Maybe they loaded the updates for early action profiles this morning and reset them all back to having buttons like they had before.

My twins have “edit major” now too. I was already thinking we were in the Deferral pile though.

I would not read into the edit major button returning. My IS daughter Palmetto Fellows, 5.433w/4.0uw, 1420 SAT, top 1% of her class has hers there as well. I don’t think it means a thing other than decisions are made and whether admitted or deferred, the option is there to edit major.

2 edit major buttons have appeared this morning.

FWIW, my son was accepted by Auburn in EA1 and he is still able to change his major by the click of a button on the admissions portal. I don’t think it means anything that the button is there. I just think they went away during the review stage. Now that the reviews are over, they can change their major again.

who knows! 2 years ago it was an edit term button that everyone was focused on. But it was over a few days prior, and people lost the button at different times. It might simply mean the decision is loaded and the bottom will have more potential meaning in a few hours. Good luck to all!

I just reached out to a friend whose child is super high stats and I would be shocked if they’re not admitted today. They have Edit Major now too. I was telling mine that if this is a “no” it means that God is closing this door for a reason. Best wishes to all!

Piling on to say my son has the buttons back too, so either all of College Confidential is getting deferred or it doesn’t mean anything!
