yes and they were sort of vague and said that it just meant a decision had been made (if the button is gone). But then why are none of the buttons disappearing this week? If they are working through applications and making decisions it would be more fluid. Of course, no one can be certain, but I am 100% expecting a deferral.
We recently had a withdraw button it changed and now only edit term this happened some time in the last week
My daughter hasn’t had the button for a while. We are OOS - Florida, her stats are 1370 SAT, 3.98 UW, her weighted is weird in Florida, so her recalculated for most schools on a 5 point scale is around 4.7. She has taken mostly AP or AICE classes and ranked to 3% in her class of 500 kids.
Last year EA was 39% acceptance - no breakdown of in or OOS
I would bet she’s accepted tomorrow with that class rank and gpa. Top 3% out of 500 is strong.
My edit term, major and withdrawal buttons are all gone. I have 32 ACT and top 4% of my class of 500 applying for engineering as a girl
The button is like a pet! ![]()
Question is who still has a withdrawal button?
@Ae1231 lost their button today.
We do!
I’ll be sure to post results
Someone lost the button this morning.
That could just mean that they haven’t started reviewing your application yet or if they have you were deferred (meaning you could withdraw your application).
Our withdraw button is gone, but EDIT button is still there…what does that mean?
So can you withdrawal if you are deferred? Like is that the norm? If do sounds like if your button is gone then it’s a yes or no but if it’s there it’s a deferral ?
Same here - doesn’t really mean anything - although we’re all trying to figure it out, lol. We’ll all find out shortly!
That’s the $1M question! I think it either means they have not completed review, or you are a major that can choose to start summer or defer to spring, or you have been deferred to RD.
Not sure if I posted stats for button still there:
3.9 unweighted (no idea how Clemson weighs)
8 APs, three dual enrollments
Lots of major-related awards and ECs
4 year varsity athlete
Clemson Summer Scholars
Letter of rec from Clemson professor
Seems like it’s not enough!
Take heart. I’m sure you’ll get in. Hard to come to grips with the drastic change in what is acceptable at these southern schools. Literally 4-5 years ago was much, much easier to get in. Just crazy.
These are great stats
That’s sounds like a no button app to me.
Major?
