Right! I was about to ask major too!
Architecture.
Thatās plenty. Donāt sweat the button.
You have amazing stats!! Maybe the button really doesnāt mean anything?
I agree! Could truly just mean that they have already made decisions on some and havenāt gotten to yours yet
Ahh, that might be the issue. My sonās major only graduated 16 kids in May and that is what Iām worried about. My son should have gone with his second choice
I would say it means NOTHING⦠after reading closely, i see someone with a 3.4 gpa had no button and a high GPA stat had no button.
Itās because of the common app simply more OOS people are applying to these schools. And the schools are trying to figure out how to offer the candidates who really want to come vs those just applying who have no intention of enrolling.
Is it possible to get bridged or summer start for EA? Or do you have to wait til regular decision to find out?
I think they wait to offer that during RD
I blame Dabo and the football team.
Maybe the button relates more to how you applied: Clemson app, common app, coalition app
Visited during move in weekā¦Met FOUR families randomly from California with freshman kidsā¦
- no longer an east coast school! ugh!
Iāve just read through this entire thread and have been on an emotional rollercoaster! Weāre in the same situation, so I thought I would reply. My daughter applied to Architecture.
OOS - FL
TO
3.8 uw / 4.55 w
13% (88 of 633)
4 year varsity athlete, elite junior golfer (wrist injury prevented her from pursuing college golf)
Tons of ECs, Volunteer work, job, etc.
We still have the edit term buttonā¦we do not have the withdraw button.
Unfortunately not!! I live in SC and asked so many of my friends if they had the button. Basically everyone with super duper high stats didnāt have it, and the rest of us did. We all have pretty good stats and applied through common app.
EA is accepted, denied, deferred. No bridge or summer start until RD.
Sheās also IB - Engineering program
im wondering if no button is a pretty certain sign for acceptence tomorrow, and if having the button means its more of a toss up? who knows though at this point
Nice to hear from another arch major. I hear itās just about impossible! Best of luck!!
I look forward to hearing from Clemson tomorrow at 6pm but I also look forward to hearing about the button results!
