I’m going to finish up my application this week and see what happens! I’m also waiting to see if I got accepted into the Honors program.

Can someone please tell me what I should include in the defer update form? I have no idea what to put besides 1st semester grades.
Maybe other letter of recommendation if you have something you didn’t include or any awards or new clubs you’ve joined.

What is a defer update form?
My son added first semester grades and he is becoming a Certified Personal Trainer so he talked about that and how he wants to develop a subscription based app for it. He also elaborated on his 2 online businesses and what he does for our family business. His major is Computer Information Systems which is half business half CS degree.
Thanks. Can you give me a rough estimate as to how long his update was? I have something written up, but i’m not sure if it is long enough since they don’t have a recommended word count for this.
I don’t remember how many words it was but it was over a page and I thought that was too much so he took a couple things out. The first paragraph was short with just his grades. The last was a statement on why Clemson and what he plans to do with his degree. The middle business paragraph was long but straight forward. Who knows if they will even read it. I just wanted them to see he was still interested and made an effort.

Mine is about half a page, but I will add a part at the add about how I want to go to Clemson and stuff at the end. Thank you!

If a letter is submitted in the defer update space - should this be addressed to someone specific or just a ‘to whom it may concern’?
Is anyone uploading a letter of interest in portal or just typing in the space?
Also are you waiting to get the unofficial transcripts with Fall grades?
My daughters Q ends on 1/5

Wrote in google docs and copy and pasted in the box. Didn’t address to anyone. Ours doesn’t end until 1/5 also so he just stated unofficial grades. Our guidance counselor is trash so even if I asked it would be March before she sent anything.
Your guidance counselor is probably extremely overworked. She is most likely doing the absolute best she can.
lol. I wish. They had to hire a new one and she is moving to a different position for next year.
That is interesting. My daughters doesn’t end until 1/8. I wonder why they all have different dates.
Despite the fact she didn’t feel she would be accepted into it, my daughter applied for the honors college. Her application was visible until just the other day when she updated her deferral information. Now it disappeared. Anyone have a similar issue?
Mine is still there and says awaiting decision. I got accepted so I’m not sure if that’s the reason it still shows up

Mine does not end till 1/26, so it varys a lot.
We are OOS and she was deferred. My daughter is unsure on including her superscore. She doesn’t test well and only has an 1180. But with 7th semester grades GPA should jump to at least a 4.5. Any thoughts on keeping her scores as part of her application?
