Thanks for helping to set expectations. This is spot on with what kids from our area received last year. My D knows an older kid from our school who was the lucky recipient of the $20,000 merit award a few years ago with similar stats which is what got us excited about looking at Clemson to begin with. We proceeded to fall in love with it, and now we have to wrestle with the reality of the OOS sticker price. LOL
I know a TO OOS girl with similar stats who got in EA last year. She submitted her application fairly early on, like the second week in September. You definitely have a shot. Hard to know as applications continue to rise, what everything will look like for our kids. Hope it all works out for your D.

Merit awards have definitely dropped since then. I believe the max oos merit award for the class of 2026 was $12,500 per year. My dd was awarded merit last year and we never found out the amount as she accepted elsewhere before merit came out. Generally , higher application numbers mean less merit and Clemsonās have skyrocketed since they started using the common app.

On the portal it says decisions released dec 14 at 6pm!
Hi all ā¦ other than the emails that went out today indicating decision day and time , any significance to the edit term button and cancel application button going away ? Or can we assume that means the portal is getting ready ? Thank you !

Not sure of significance, but S24ās portal page still shows the edit term button. The withdraw application button disappeared thoughā¦

Dont read into portal changes. We did it last year and drove ourselves nuts! We had the same changes as others last year and some got accepted and some deferred! It does help pass the time til decisions come out! Hang in there:)

Wondering the same
My edit term button is gone, and I am high stat (1520 sat) and oos. I wouldnāt read too much into it, and I donāt think it means anything.
