Not liking that the Edit Term button is still there. Wondering if I should have him change it to Summer today.

You can change it to summer? We answered on the app that she would be willing to attend the summer program.

Just my opinion but I def wouldnā€™t change anything! No need to be messing around in there until we hear back. Esp when it probably means nothing! Portal astrology has proven pretty inaccurate.

Donā€™t need to change anything. This from the website

Summer Start is a program for first-year applicants to Clemson University who are offered Summer admission. There is no additional application for Summer Start. First-year applicants to Clemson are automatically considered for the program during the application review process, and a select group receives offers to participate.

Also, the way I see it is next year other parents will read these threads and they will be wondering the same thing so maybe us openly analyzing it all will help them. :wink:

Is there anyone who Clemson is not a reach that has the edit term button still? Or is everyone with edit term still there assuming denial or deferral? Itā€™s hard not to read into it bc itā€™s different for everyone.

If you read posts from the last two years, there were people who were accepted that still had the edit term button.

Yes, I donā€™t think that has anything to do with it. Theyā€™re probably preparing the portal. Similar thing happened with Ohio State.

I would say itā€™s a target for us , but we donā€™t have the button ā€¦ and Iā€™m ridiculously thinking of a thousand scenarios :joy:

We are TO and OOS so I have no way of knowing if that truly has helped or hurt us. So therefore I cant determine if Clemson is a target or a reach. We did all the optional things but we did not do the max - so we did the essay, the resume, and only 1 letter of rec. We are 4.0 uw/ 4.3 w top 9% of class. Just sharing all of this so it may help others in the future.

Sounds very similar to my daughters stats and we both are missing the change term button. Could it be because we both did TO? Again, I know Im over analyzing and thats ok. Its just who I am as a person lol

We are TO, OOS with high stats and neither button ā€¦ Iā€™m be analyzing this all week like itā€™s my job :joy:

3.6w hereā€¦and TOā€¦3 letters of rec, works afterschool and summerā€¦undeclared majorā€¦and I said we would not be applying for FA (I know it was asked but I cannot locate it now.)
