I think there were others who still said they had four?
Oh no! There is still hope, I don’t know her stats but fingers crossed she makes it in. I heard it in our tour a couple years back and remembered that it was the same as getting into Harvard, that stuck with me. (DD was considering nursing at one time.)
Anyways, I just did a random google search and it pulled up the 5.2% and there were several places it pulled those stats from.
So sorry! I didn’t see anyone say their child was applying for nursing so don’t want to scare you.
I remember 2 others but they said their kids were pranking them ![]()
Also, looked at last year and it says that 183 were admitted into nursing program. But they were hoping to admit about 40% more than that this year so roughly 256 admitted this year. I think 5,500 ish were admitted? So maybe look at that math?
Searched it and there are hundreds…don’t know which is your daughter’s…

Especially great if you have kids that plan to rush! That was all brand new to us.
thanks!
Ok, so then I doubt it is really 5.2%. The important stats for nursing are 1) how many apply for nursing, 2) how many of those do they admit (to get the nursing admit rate), and 3) to fill what limited number of spaces. I’m sure it’s much lower than the average admission percentage, but probably is quite a bit higher than 5.2%.
Agree to this. Last year, our student’s school (OOS but in region) found most EA applicants were deferred (7/8). Nearly all received acceptances in RD round. It’s given us perspective having a senior this year.
My daughter also applied for nursing!![]()

They only have spots for 178 per the nursing tour we took- had over 5k applications
next year the program is expanding by 25 spots
All of my daughter’s buttons just disappeared!!!
All gone here too…but apparently consider the low odds of getting in with a nursing major when using portal astrology to guess whether that may be good or bad.
OK yes that sounds about right for what we were told on our tour last spring as well. So single digit acceptance.
Our son’s did too. Under “starting at Clemson in”, it now says Fall 2025. Same for everyone?
all buttons gone
My D’s has always said that.
It does say that! What did it say before? I can’t remember.
All buttons gone, seems like everyone. You have to refresh a few times
I think it has always said that. It is the line that used to have the “edit term” button.
