lol my daughter is a senior, could’ve graduated last Mat with 121 credits. Nope! Fortunately she has a job offer that she committed to starting in the summer here in NJ, or else I’d be nervous she’d never leave. She fell in love her first visit, is still in heaven, feels like she won the lottery.

She applied with education major and then once she was accepted requested to move to business and they allowed it. Luckily both majors are open majors. It is very hard to move to a closed major almost impossible in fact.

Our school does not class rank so….
I honestly think we only had two buttons last year. I could be wrong but I don’t remember us having 4. The main thing I know is that we noticed that the kids with the higher stats all had the same missing buttons and then the ones with the lower stats or the ones that it was a reach for still had the buttons so it made sense.
One mom even called about it and the lady on the phone told her that basically it meant a decision was made if the button was gone. But she wasn’t sure if that was a good thing or not. So we looked at all the stats and determined on our own that the missing buttons were good and we were 100% right.

Yes, I remember some having this issue last year and still getting in EA. If a class rank is not available then they seem to dig in a tad deeper to start with.
Ohhhh wait above all the actual #1 is your major - maybe not for all majors, but for nursing for example (closed major) they only take a small amount I think last year was 2% if I remember correctly, so if you are applying for a closed major then that will be the first thing they look at then the other stuff. But for the rest that are open majors I stand by the #1 and #2 ranking as it has proven to be true for everyone I have talked to.

Based on the responses - it seems almost everyone has 2 buttons missing. How likely is it that everyone on this feed has a high stat kid who is getting accepted EA? I’m not sure the missing buttons correlates this year. Although - I am hoping that it does

lol. I was in the group last year and your daughter’s video on how she got into Clemson showed up on my daughters FYP. She had me watch it and I said that sounds exactly like someone from the chat group. I checked the video comments and saw your name and thought omg that’s the name.

My kid applied EA and the portal is showing two, the Edit Term and Withdraw Application. Honestly, at this point I don’t even remember what other buttons there even were!

Oh my goodness! I love that so much! Crazy how things have turned out since then. She is now paid by Tik tok just for sharing her daily life with me at Clemson. Fun for me, but she enjoys not having to work a job because she is paid from social media and gets tons of free PR.
I have since thought maybe she should change her major to marketing. LOL!

better stats that my OOS (CA) son who got in EA during 2023 admissions cycle (he is attending as a 2nd year student and loves it). that may have been the first year of EA, so there may be more EA applicants now. Here again because his brother is in the current EA admissions cycle

In that case, my OOS D’s buttons may be really important for portal astrology since she applied as nursing. Is there a certain place that you found those stats? I’d love to be able to show them to her when the defer/deny arrives.
